All-Star Resorts

They are all themed great, larger than life everything. We stayed at Movies last time and as two adults found lots of children. We wanted to stay at Music this time (May 4 - six weeks and counting), as they say there are fewer children here but we couldn't get a discounted room so we are in Sports this time. I don't think it really matters as you can visit all three if your feet can still hold up after a day at the parks, to look around and eat at the different food courts or take pictures. If you have kids that love Toy Story be sure to see Andy's Room in the Movies area to the left as you exit the food court before you hit the pool.

Movies has the best themeing, try to stay in the Toy Story rooms if you have kids, close to the main building but off to the side so you don't get too much walk through traffic. The whole courtyard is like Andy's room - very fun.

I've only stayed at Music. I loved it, and now that you mentioned it, it really wasn't all that crowded either. Sports would prob be my last choice, not sure why. I love sports, but the atmosphere seems like it my not be Disney enough for me!

The only one I've stayed at is Movies & I loved it. We'll be staying there again in November. I thought the theming was great - Music & Sports just don't "feel" Disney enough for me. Besides, my kid would throw a fit if we couldn't sleep in the same hotel as Buzz Lightyear & Woody. :D

They are all very similar in terms of facilities and the rooms are the same. The only difference is the theme. Movies is the busiest, followed by Sport and then Music.
It depends on what you are looking for. Movies has the best theme but if you like a quiter resort then music has to be the one.

Does anyone else think that the food courts are different? As of 2 weeks ago, i've stayed at all three. Movies seems to have the best food, more selection, etc. then Music and then Sports last.

BTW, we stayed at Music while Americheer was there and it was not that quiet. There were cheer leaders everywhere!!!!!! We will be back there in June so I can't wait to see the difference.

I liked Movies the best. I stayed there twice and Music once.

The theming was better at Movies.

I didn't like how the cafeteria theming was done in Music. The walls were painted with people (music-related, of course). The drawing seemed very amateurish... many bodies were out of proportion.. it looked rushed.

Other than that, I'd suggest staying on an outside(not facing the couryards) room if you don't want to hear much noise. :)

I have only stayed at the sports, but I wish I could stay at the Movies, as it has the best theming, best food court, and looks more like "disney" than the other ones.

Kisses from Brazil! Kisses for you all!

They are all great! If you want a quiet room, then ask for one facing the parking lot, LOL! Those rooms are very quiet and not in big demand. For some reason, people want the "preferred" rooms which are usually facing the pool (so you have a nicer view) but those rooms end up being louder at night. Music is great, and I agree with the more adults/less crowds thing. I would go there. In fact, I usually do :)

Well, we have stayed at Music and Sports we go in May and are at Movies. We love the All Stars. Of course we have kids. Music was nice, sports was nice but not so Disney. Cant wait to see the kids faces when they see Movies! 55 days to go :)
