In a suprising move - WDW has offered the All Star Music and All Star Sports resorts through priceline for a shocking rate of $36 per night. (Rack for this period is $99)

I did it myself in early may, much to my own disbelief.

www.magicvalues.com has information on possible bidding dates and how to bid. It must of course me stressed that with priceline no particular hotel is guaranteed and it's nonrefundable after you bid.

Note: Magic Value is a fansite, not any sort of for-profit or travel agency.

Perhaps I will be taking another trip to Disney this year.....:lookaroun:D:D:D:D

Thanks for the info. Does anybody know if I call the resort and ask directly for this rate if I'll be able to get it? Just curious!

I hate bidding for things. Because you can be so close to winning something on a low bid and someone outbids but thats not bad its bad when there are several aother auctions of the same thing with no bids on them and they choose yours.

this isn't how priceline works--- you specify how much you are willing to pay and if the hotel accepts it you get the room; it all happens when you press the button.

Actually Priceline is not an auction site... What they mean by "bidding" is actually your offer for the room

IE. You make an off of $36.oo and priceline searches their database for hotels matching your criteria and if one will take 36 for the night you get the room... The only catch is that once the offer is accepted you cannot get your money back.. Thats how priceline gets the blocks of rooms so cheap.. They guarntee payment for the room

PS i just got the All Star Music for $40 for this coming Saturday
