She was also in The Wedding Singer.

(Yeah, I'm pretty much a Christine Taylor fan  hehe )

I used to want to be on Wild and Crazy Kids soooo bad. That stsuff always looked fun.... still does!

I used to watch this show "Mysterious Cities of Gold" on Nick. As I grew older, I thought I was going crazy cause I couldn't find any mention of this show! Then last year I found copies of the whloe series (onlny like 39 episodes) and I was SO overjoyed!

SING WITH ME EVERYONE!!

"We run, we jump, we swim and play
We row and go on trips
But the thing that lasts forever
Are our dear friendships

Camp Annawanna
We hold you in our hearts
and when we think about you
It makes me wanna fart

*It's I hope we never part, now get it right or pay the price*

Now we will share a lifetime
Of the fondest memories
By the lake of Annawanna
Set in the old pine trees

Camp Annawanna
We hold you in our hearts
And when we think about you
...This thing came apart

THINK ANNAWANNA WANNA
SPEAK ANNAWANNA WANNA
LIVE ANNAWANNA WANNA
UG!"

Wow... that was all from memory. I am a loser...

I remember the fart verse:lol: ...I also can really only remember one episode where Budnick and the other kid were doing a puzzle, and they did it upside down, and Budnick was all "we just need to flip it over" and they did and it all broke...I remember that, and the flagpole in the intro.

This is my all time favorite:

Whenever my life keeps so down
I know I can go down (down, down, down)
To where the music and the fun never ends
As long as that music keeps playing
You know what I'm saying
I know that I can find a friend...
Down at the Roundhouse!

OH MY GOD!! I love old school Nick. I used to live for the Saturday night lineup. Roundhouse and Are You Afraid of the Dark. Here are my favorite Nick shows.

7. Clarissa Explains It All
6. Roundhouse
5. Alex Mack
4. Are You Afraid of the Dark
3. Salute Your Shorts
2. Pete and Pete
1. Hey, Dude

I loved Hey Dude! I was so in love with Brad. She had that hot and witchy yet attainable thing going on. Melody was hot, but whiny.

Yeah, his name was David Lascher. He was in a few ABC series as a guest (when they were good, funny, and family friendly as well). LOL.

He was also on Blossom. He played Blossom's boyfriend, Vinny.

I'm kinda too old to remember some of these "old school" Nick shows. I do remember You Can't Do That on Television very vividly. And I remember a girl in my 5th or 6th grade class had a HUGE crush on Allistaire Gillis. OMG I can't believe I remembered his name!

My fave OLD old school Nick show was Turkey TV. It was all very bizarre sketches, songs, standup comedy and clips from oddball movies. That was where I first heard the song "Fish Heads" and saw some classic Dana Carvey standup (WAY before he joined SNL).

Man, I remember when Nickelodeon was a SCRAMBLED pay channel!

I agree!! I thought Brad was the hottest. Who'd have thought that Melody would grow up to be a bigger star??

Anybody remember "Mad Movies"?

I do! But that was on the old Nick at Nite. Loved it though. I vividly remember one where they changed the plot to Michael Jackson hiding from fame/fans in this little village. The funniest part was they called the village's little hick jugband the Doobie Brothers and when they performed they just went "doobie doobie doobie doobie doobie doobie doobie...."

Oh! And I just remembered the chick that played Melody on Hey Dude (I actually remember this show) was on Friends for a few episodes at the end of season 3.

Today was SALUTE YOUR SHORTS!! Man, I haven't seen it in ages. Felt good to finally see it again. It was the first episode. But, after seeing this again, and also seeing Hey Dude again, I think I prefer Hey Dude more.

And I think Melody was hotter than Brad.....:D

I am feeling incredibly OLD right now. I really don't remember most of these shows.

As you are two years older than me, these shows would have been on your jr./sr. year in HS, assuming you grad in '92.
