All Old School Nickelodeon Lovers...Hurry up and read this

All this week on UPick Live (Nickelodeon, and Nick2), they are doing this thing where every day, people go online and vote on 3 "old school" Nickelodeon shows. Today, it was between Clarrisa, You can't do that on tv, and Alex Mack. You Can't Do That On TV Won (I actually remembered alot of it). I think it is only for the rest of this week, so you have 2 days left...I'm hoping for Salute Your Shorts tomorrow.

See now they need to put those shows on DVD or something I know I would buy those. I loved "You Cant Do That On Television", Clarrisa was the best, and I loved Alex MAck. Salute your shorts was another great one....ahh the good old days...

One great episode was one where the mother was complaining about the kids using too much toilet paper...so the kid's in the bathroom and says, "Mom, there's no toilet paper in here!" and the mom walks in with 3 sheets of toilet paper...and the kid says, "But mom, I use twice as much as this!" and she says, "Use both sides" :lol:

Anyone care to make lame locker jokes?

Salute Your Shorts was a classic....I loved watching that show.

Too bad those days are long gone.........

(well, at least Rocko's Modern Life is on that Nicktoons channel....that's the best cartoon Nick ever made.... )

Upick comes on at 5, with the Old School fave on at 5:30 (Florida).

Today's choices are All That (original, funny one, not the stupid new one), Hey Dude, and My Brother and Me.

Man, I forgot all about My Brother and Me until now. I use to watch that show all the time! It got my vote.

Oh man, how I miss all these shows! Nicklodeon used to be good, but now its just one big pile of rat droppings. All that used to be so funny! Remember Leroy and Fuzz? That was hilariouse!
And Laura Beth Denburg was great at the time. Oh, and then there was Kenan and Kell, that was great too. I don't think CatDog is on anymore, but that was a great show too. THere was also Legend of the Lost temple, the obsticle course the contestants had to go through was so cool. Another great game show was where Nikelodean stars had to guess what one kid's talent was, and if they said one special word, they got slimed. Gosh, Nik used to be so good, now its just aweful now days. Same is for cartoon network. The only channel that has good quality shows for kids now days in the Disney Channel.

Today's show was Hey Dude. Man, I didn't know what the heck it was until it first came on the screen, and then I fully remembered it! That was such a great show that I use to love to watch.......

I just did a quick search on the cast on IMDB, and none of them have been in anything recent, except for the girl who played Melody, who is in a lot of stuff (next movie you'll see her in is Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. She was also Marcia Brady in the two Brady Bunch movies). Actually, most of the cast hasn't done anything except for Hey Dude (I also read that the guy who played Danny supposedly died earlier this year).

I think he was also in that relatively recent Mary Kate and Ashley TV series. Can't think of the name offhand.

Christine Taylor aka Melody is married to Ben Stiller and that is why she is in a bunch of his newer movies.


I had a crush on her, especially in the Hey Dude episode where she tried out for the beauty pageant. Woohoo!!

Old School Nick was the best. Why so many nonesense cartoons now??! Bring back the great comedies. Alex Mack was attractive too.

Hey Dude and Salute your Shorts were really funny.

Remember SNICK--Roundhouse, Are You Afraid of the Dark, etc

And Pete & Pete--that show had a very unique sense of humor, hysterical

I did hate Kids Court, tho.

Yeah, his name was David Lascher. He was in a few ABC series as a guest (when they were good, funny, and family friendly as well). LOL.

OH MY GOD!! I love old school Nick. I used to live for the Saturday night lineup. Roundhouse and Are You Afraid of the Dark. Here are my favorite Nick shows.
