How did they botch the opening? It hasn’t even happened yet.
You don’t debut something so late in the season that you are already ramping up for the next one where you limit its showings. Memorial Day should have been the latest it debusted given the parties, but given the complete economic collapse that’s about to happen it probably doesn’t matter. Consumer spending on discretionary items is about to plummet, once tarrifs get added to essential items.

Let’s see what happens when we get to the Calendar Phase. Maybe TDO is ahead of Schedule? Yes, Memorial Weekend might be a missed opportunity. But If Starlight opens before July, that's still most of the Summer.
Another thing, MNSSHP doesn't have to start so early! When I was growing up, Labor Day was a Summer Holiday, not Fall! I'm talking to both Coasts Here!

They won’t be running this in lieu of Boo to You. People will just have to plan around MNSSHP. Sometimes it be like that.
As I expected but the Debut Year has been different. PTN at the 60th Halloween Party, Wishes instead of FITS Christmas at MVMCP before Holiday Wishes, HEA Christmas Week 2017.

I’m expecting only 3 more floats. A logo float, finale float and maybe 1 more main float.
I think the Blue Fairy float will act as the "logo float" itself, more akin to how Magic Happens doesn't have a logo float (yes I know its not a nighttime parade) Something tells me the soundtrack will likely repeat the title Starlight enough that people get the gist of what it's called.

Reign in your expectations

Serious question (because I'm a grammar nut) but isn't the correct term to "rein in expectations"? Like the reins for a horse while reign is for ruling like a king. I just want to make sure I'm writing it correctly when I use it.

More on topic: @marni1971 do you have positive expectations for the parade or do you think it might be a disappointment?
