All hotels booked?

Hey there-
I've been planning my Disney trip for November 12-16. I was hoping to stay at POFQ. I've been checking the prices daily & when I went to book the room yesterday, almost all of the hotels have no availability!
The Contemporary, Bay Lake Tower & Grand Floridian are the only hotels with availability for those dates, & I wanted to stay in the moderate price range.
Is it typical for almost all of the hotels to get booked in one day? Is there any possibility the rooms will open up again?
If go the weekend before, the 5-9, the Coronado Springs Resort is available... how does that one compare with POFQ?
Thanks!!

Not sure what the reason is this time, but it has happened to us in the past. We ran into a no room available situation a few years go when every room seemed to be held in blocks for the travel agent "pow wow". This was one spring, so maybe it is a different reason. Rooms did not become available again until the block holds expired. Hopefully someone has a better answer.

I think there are a couple half marathons going on around that time. All else fails you can book the deluxe room to have one and keep checking to see if a moderate opens up. They now allow us to change the resort reservation online, so much better then waiting on terminal hold.

I would call them. The website can be a little wonky, and might only show rooms available for the fall discount. If you call them they will be able to give you the full availability.

That is also the time of Free Dining so many of the rooms have already been booked due to that offer. We are going to be there from Nov 12-21 with free dining.

sometimes there isn't availability on one of the dates that you put in and it will give you no availability for the entire stay so if you can play with your dates and search sometimes you can weed out that one day that is being the "fly in the ointment" of trying to book your stay. I spent several hours on the web site doing this for our upcoming November stay and ended up splitting our stay. Good luck in your search
I just looked up on the WDW site and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party starts on November 8 and goes on selected evenings throughout November and into December. Several of the nights that your are looking for involve party dates. This will have a big impact on room availability for those days.

You're also checking in the day after Veteran's Day. We were there at that time last year and it was really - like unexpectedly - busy. Ultimately, I'd call since I've found the lodging options to be less reliable on the website.

I changed the dates to November 5-9 & are staying at the Coronado Springs Resort. I'll keep checking to see if anything else comes available!
Glad you got a reservation. But even if you wanted POFQ, you are by no means settling by staying at CS.

Possibly due to Jersey week? We went a couple times around those dates, and it was supposed to be somewhat lighter crowds but it was actually quite busy. Plus free dining and maybe a marathon, and you get a booked up resort as a result.
