alcohol at resorts?

One Little Spark...
Yes very true! I didn't mention this since there isn't a bus that travels between the Boardwalk and the All Star resorts.
Yeah, but one could hop on one on the way back from a park. Then snag the Boardwalk bus to HS, and from there back to Pop.

Would probably take longer than just going to DTD though to do all those busses (or even the boat to HS).

I was thinking more if they were going to use the Taxi option, the fare to there and back would probably be less than other places.

The resort drink prices at the bars are expensive, but nothing too extreme or unexpected. But then again, I think drinks at all bars are always expensive. I remember paying about $7 or so for a Bulleit at Port Orleans Riverside. It was a fairly generous pour. As mentioned, many resorts sell small bottles (300ml) of fairly common types of alcohol (Johnnie Walker Black, Crown Royale, Beam, etc), but I dont know how much they run. I lived in the Orlando area for a while and have found the best prices to be at the Walgreens liquor store. The one I'd go to was right by Vista Way (CP housing). It's about 10-15 minutes from Hollywood Studios/Epcot depending on what time you go.

Yup the deluxe and even some of the moderate resorts sell alcohol at the shop near the resort. Depends on the resort. Like at beach club, yacht club and boardwalk it's on the boardwalk the store that sells them. PO is right in the lobby pretty much. So yes it's possible. Not sure how much money you'll save though after buying it rather than ordering it. But give it a whirl.
