OMG! Clay Aiken's version of Proud of Your Boy was horrible! He completely butchered probably what is Disney's greatest unreleased song. Proud of Your Boy is a very emotional song. It's supposed to be sung with a lump in your throat. Stupid Clay Aiken kept smirking and smiling throughout the thing, singing like it was a joke. I thought with a voice like his, he could do an awesome job. Apparently not. He seems to give off this cockiness when he sings. Dude, you were second place. You aren't that good. BTW, seeing the storyboards with Alan Menken's version. Sooooo good. That made me want to cry. Clay's version just makes me want to hurt him. Seriously, I could sing it better than him. I've sung that song hundreds of times. I love Proud of Your Boy.

I'm glad you don't feel too strongly about it. :p

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was disappointed. Personally I would have liked to have seen Clay sing You Can Count On Me. I think his voice may be better suited for that song

I've found the film from the Aladdin show...

It seems that it was for a Disneyland Resort "commercial" in the Sneak Peaks section on Disc 1. :(

xfkirsten: I thought I was the only freak to run to Wal-Mart and get the gift set version of the movie. I feel sorry for the people who pre-ordered it. Yeah, they got some cool things, but nothing in comparison to what is in the gift set! I have yet to see it  , just been staring at it in amazment and reading the book and enjoying the sketches which are AWEOME! Tonight...I WILL WATCH IT!

Ah, okay! I'll have to go back and look at that. I know there were a few shots at the beginning of "Diamond in the Rough," but judging from the fact that it looked like it was Miles Wesley as Aladdin, it was just the old promo footage from the show's original opening (Miles Wesley left the show just a month or two after its grand opening). I'll have to go back and see who it is in the DL promo.

Can you guys post some pictures of the Gift Set. I saw it at Wal-Mart the other night, but didn't actually get what was in it...

I really liked "Proud of you Boy". I had never heard it before, and the lyrics and everything were really good. I didn't hate the Clay Aiken version either.

By the way, the magic carpet Aladdin game on disk 2 is crazy. This will make me out to sound so dumb, but I cannot beat it. There is like, no strategy, and it's really just guessing lol. Anyone beat it?

I can't beat it, either, but my DVD-ROM seems to be buggy with it. It let me try the snake thing once, and then every time I tried to do it after that, it wouldn't let me. :(

Doesn't make any sense to me....and what's up with the special features on Disney DVDs now anyway? Aladdin seemed to have almost the same exact ones as The Lion King 1 1/2, except with Aladdin and co. of course.

Just get to Agrabah and then choose the hourglass, play the snake flute, and you're in.

Same thing happened to me. It wouldn't let me try again and it didn't seem worth the effort to turn off the DVD to reset it and try again

Hmmm... are you using a computer DVD-ROM? Or a regular DVD player? I'm trying to figure out where the problem stems from.

that might be because you can only try each game once, every time you play.

So if you mess up the snake thing once, you have to completely restart the game? Why don't they just give you a game over screen, then?
