Agreed, um like The Tiki Room :lookaroun, saw it today and Im sorry but the red eyed demon in the middle has got to go, kids were terrified. And the rest of it is a very choppy show and obnoxious, and outdated. Upbeat yes it is, but it just lacks the brilliance it use to have. Was hoping for the 40th they would do something with it but guess we will have to wait till the 50th it looks like.

I think they should just re-do all the classics. Everything from the Jungle Cruise to Peter Pan, and from Peter Pan to Space Mountain. Every single classic! Please.

I think they are getting ready to redo the outside facade of peter pan. The permit filings thing had one for a new facade package. But yeah still all the classics, and Pan does need some help inside. Pooh needs a new facade and queue too, those plywood flat boards are ugly.

The sad thing...That was what was planned for the 40th.
They are kinda doing it, but SM was a flop, IMHO.

I think all on WDWMagic agree on SM. Peter Pan was really bad and the only attraction that I thought needed an emergency refurb in the MK.

You are not alone on PP, either...All of the TR's that came out in December said the same thing, mine included. Looked terrible.

I think the Pan Facade refurb was official...no?
Well its the first I'm hearing about it. And by new facade do they mean new version of the old one, or does it mean it's getting the DL facade.

After reading the info again I think this facade package is a bigger project than just a painting of whats there. As reported on mouseplanet last week: Magic Kingdom Peter Pan's Flight – complete rehabilitation of exterior facades and roof.

Well I went to mouseplanet and saw the article that had it but I'm still wondering why I'm not hearing so much excitement over this.
I'm not sure where the excitement would come from. The roofs being refurbed? The exterior getting a new paint job? I'm glad they're doing it, but it kind of falls under the "Nice. Not thrilling, but nice." category for me....
Oh, I though that ment that we were actually going to get DIsneylands facade. At least it's something.
It could; I have truly no idea. Without an official announcement though I'm not sure I'd get my hopes up. I'd plan on more of a "clean, touch-up, and repair" category of refurb more than anything else....
