I saw this on my phone while in the market checkout lane, and I couldn't wait to get home to post it properly. Big news from Al Lutz tonight on the front page of Miceage!

EDITOR’S NOTE 2/2: The dates for DCA's grand re-opening event have finally been chosen. June 14th will be the media day and private celebrity party, and June 15th will be the official first day of operation for customers. There will only be a handful of days for AP Previews and soft openings for Cars Land in early June, and those dates aren't confirmed yet. June 15th will also kick off DCA's new operating schedule of daily 8AM to 11PM hours through the summer. - Al Lutz

I was just coming to the DisneyLand section to ask about this. :ROFLOL:

Outstanding news. I was thinking I would have to come in late August, now we can go for our Anniversary in mid-July. Awesome news.

Do you happen to have the black-out dates for different AP holders in CA? I'd like to plan my trip during those times.

Edit....Checked blackout dates. Trip is planning up quickly. DLR here we come.

You are very smart to plan your trip around AP blockout dates! Late August has the summer blockouts lifted for hundreds of thousands of AP's, so a trip in mid-July is much smarter on your part. (Not that July won't be busy, but it just won't be so tragic as when the cheaper AP's come flooding back in.)

Bravo to you for being such a savvy Disneyland visitor! :wave:

A trip in late July - early August to SoCal is looking more and more likely, so this really has me excited. I should know within a month if we are definitely going.

Loved Cars, did not enjoy Cars 2 all that much, but one thing Cars 2 did was get me really excited about Carsland. It looks like it's gonna be great.
