@DABIGCHEEZ I laughed so hard when I saw that pic, that my dh thought I was choking! Maybe this is the first step to overcoming fear of clowns.

Definitely a huge plus of the YC is Stormalong Bay, but for me who spends more time in the parks than the resorts and pool I just absolutely love the decor and being able to see the animals at the AKL. My vote would be for the AKL.

I have never stayed at the YC, but have stayed at the AKL 2 times and was there most recently on my last vacation in 2016 with my boyfriend with a Savannah View and the experience to waking up with a cup of coffee and looking out into the Savannah was breath taking. I was also there with my parents as a teen and have to say I loved the pool and just walking around the resort grounds. The food court was also good.

The sand isn't what bothers me, it's the size.
Horrible mother alert---- sometimes I just want to sit poolside, with an adult beverage in hand, while watching my kid swim.
I wouldn't be able to do that at Stormalong Bay.lol. I've stayed at YC quite a few times on adult trips and have 0 complaints otherwise
. If you have a clown aversion- go for YC!
