hello everyone! just got back from the world and thought id share!

last monday i was at AK, MGM and MK. AK was great..Everest has really come along since i was there a year ago. you can clearly see it from route 526 and some parts of I-4. it is HUGE. went to mgm aroudn 1 and tried LMAX but there were CM's blocking the entrance. apparently they were shooting for commercials so i asked when the next show was. she said tomorrow(tuesday). i was fusturated because i heard the best chance to see the show was on a monday. so much for that. :veryconfu Went to Magic Kingdom around 7 30 and tried stitch. what A LET DOWN. i thought it could be good, but noo..i completely miss alien encounter, and i didnt really even like alien encounter!

Went to Epcot on friday along with MK. The Land pavilion was open along with Soarin - it had a 35 minute wait. half the inside of the pavillion was taped off and work was being done to the restaurants. The soarin queue is really nice. The line itself is wide, but it works out well. Only one side of the ride was working (#2 i think..the one to the right). My friend LOVED it. its going to be a great addition to Epcot. Everything else was perfect, as usual. Ill be updating a year from now with Everest hopefully on here!

Thanks for posting your report. Too bad you didn't get to see LMAX. I heard it was a fantastic show. Also, where on I-4 can you see EE? Just wondering.

you can see construction (cranes, etc) from I -4 near the 526 intersectoin. sorry i didnt make that more clear. The best view of everest is from 526..near the mcdonalds/gift shop (the one that says we have a free gift for mcdonalds customers)
:p i really cant wait for it! im going crazy!

Great update. Thanks.

Only 35 minutes for Soarin'? That's pretty cool. I thought it would have been longer (or I am mistaken and the pavilion isn't open to the public yet). What time did you go on it?

It is open but not many guests know that yet! ;)

Which baffles me, what with a banner every ten steps advertising it! :dazzle:

Now surely, Phil, we don't expect guests to have to actually FIGURE OUT that these huge banners, photos, new signs, re-done pavilion, etc. mean that the new attraction is actually HERE? That would make people have to work and think FAR too much on vacation, right!

Maybe if we put a big cardboard cut-out of an alien, but on a glider, outside and put static-cling decals of him....:lookaroun

Are you being sarcastic or are you serious. Yes, there are numerous banners and advertisements, but most guests are under the impression that these things open on May 5, 2005.

Register on WDWMAGIC. This sidebar will go away, and you'll see fewer ads.
