I thought it would be a little fun to put up each WDW park against each other and hear people's 5 reasons why they feel one park is better than the other. This one is AK vs Epcot. Go!

AK vs Epcot - 5 Reasons Why You Feel One is Better Than the Other

Personally, I go with AK on this one.
1. AK's theming can't be dated, unlike "Future World" with changing technology.
2. Thrill rides are better at AK.
3. So many attractions/areas at Epcot need to be updated or changed.
4. AK has the better 3D show.
5. Kilimanjaro Safaris in and of itself is more interesting than anything in World Showcase.

I am picking Epcot here.
1. Drinking around the world.
2. Best choice and range of restaurants on property
3. Winnie the Pooh in a quiet place hidden in the UK pavilion
4. Illuminations
5. Off Kilter

So torn! But I pick AK as well..
1. I love AK's different themes.
2. Safari on a cool day with active animals is hard to beat, so many awesome pics from that ride.
3. I only go in cooler months (Way less often) so I'm discovering new things all the time
4. Disco yeti tour ride...
5. I love how colorful everything is!!

EPCOT
1. Spaceship Earth as a classic icon and attraction in which ITtbaB cannot compete
2. World Showcase has amazing food, drink, culture, shopping, etc...
3. Soarin' and Test Track are more innovative and awe inspiring vs. expedition Everest which is a mediocre roller coaster in a low coaster environment so people think its so thrilling just because there are only 4ish coasters in Disney
4. The theme of the entire park. The future/the world showcase vs. a really nice zoo. (I know...itznahtazu or whatever) but the idea of the park is very similar to that of a zoo
5. Illuminations. AK has no fireworks or nighttime show.

Epcot for me..The most relaxing park at WDW..Great food choices..Great entertainment..Great Drinkie poo places..

in favor of EPCOT
1.layout is more intuitive to navigate
2. feels more "classic" to me
3. food and beverages!
4. better shopping
5. illuminations
I'll have to try AK again when the fam isn't as tired. We liked EE and the safari but in general I found the whole place hard to navigate and the carnival thing going on in Dinoland was just jarring to me.

I am going to add to my post:
Epcot is my additional choice because:
1. Margharita with @figmentfan423 in Mexico
2. A pint with @real mad hatter in UK
3. A beer with @mrdisman in Germany
4. A diet coke with @epcotisbest in American Experience
5. Anything that @bethymouse wants to drink at either France or Italy!!

I'm not sure one is "better" than the other, but I do like the AK more.
1. It's prettier. And more calm and peaceful.
2. By far, the best themed park - carried out, blended, in every detail
3. Better rides - Everest, safari, Dinosaur
4. FotLK - the BEST show in all of WDW
5. ITTBAB - I love that movie
Epcot has many good points, too. I love Epcot! But I love the AK maybe a smidge more.
