AK character breakfast question.

In AK if you have the character breakfast do you have enough time to eat and still be able to start touring the park as soon as it opens? Has anyone done this? I understand the on currently running will be stopped and new one will be opened by the time we go in December. Where is the new one goint to be located at?

In my opinion it is better to do the main attractions when first entering the park (Expedition Everest) and then go have a late breakfast.

Donald’s Breakfastosaurus is currently located at Restaurantosaurus but will be moved to Tusker House Restaurant & Bakery

You should, provided your ADR is at least 40 minutes before opening, but I'd try for 1 hour before opening just to be sure. The Tusker House is near the safari.

during our last trip

We ate at the Breakfastasaurus the last time that we were at AK and our reservation was at 7:15am. It was perfect, we had lots of time to enjoy our meal and we were there when the park opened. Now............that was 5 yrs ago! Everywhere that I have read, the 1st breakfast now is 8am,(maybe I should call and verify). I would say the earlier the better to give you plenty of time to let your food settle before getting on EE. We had planned to go again during our next trip in December, because we LOVE the breakfast there but now I see that it is being moved and changed to I think "Donald's Safari Breakfast" or something like that. We are definitely giving it a try, I hope it is as good as I remember it being. Have a great trip!

Thanks so if the breakfast is at 8 the park opens at 9? That leaves an hour. Depending, it might be rushing it.

No, an hour is ample time for breakfast and to meet the characters before park opening

We always do a late breakfast so we can do the "big" rides first. I don't want to get on EE with food in my stomach.

Yes, we did this last year at Donald's Breakfastosaurus.
We just booked our b'fast early-either 8:00am or 8:30am (I can't remember).
The park usually doesn't open until 9:00am (earlier during morning EMH).
