I didnt see anything posted on this site, but just tp let everyone know who is flying Airtran. Make sure your flights are still there. There was a post on another board. I looked into it and my flight home was totally cancelled!! Make sure you check yours. Just to let everyone know. I wouldnt have known myself, I didnt receive anything notifying me of the change.

Nice.

Flying just keeps getting worse and worse. My in-laws met us for a family reunion in FL recently, and AA managed to misplace my SIL's suitcase on BOTH direct flights, each way. It's a good thing she's a twin, and her sister was there. The last two times I (or The Son) flew SW, our bags were misplaced, but it was on the return flight, so it wasn't a real problem...except for having one delivered at 3AM.

Of course, the same thing happened to the same SIL at our wedding 30 years ago. Her twin was there to save the day that time, also. She does seem to have her suitcases lost more than average.

I've never had any problem with AirTran, they are as good as what you pay for them, and I would not pay more than 59 bucks for a one way.

Southwest is still the best by far, but I always fly out of Chicago, and been using AirTran alot of late, and they've never cancelled a flight on me.

I'm with mkt on this one. The only flight I've had with Delta that wasn't delayed a significant amount of time was my recent flight to California. Here is the best part though, that flight took off on time but the entertainment system was broken. I sat and stared at the blank screen on the seatback in front of me for 5 hours.

We've done OK with both AirTran and United to Orlando from Washington Dulles. Hopefully our luck holds with United this September.

We booked our flights thru airtran in May for Nov. 24th. We were to leave at 12:25 and arrive in Orlando at 3:59. I looked at their website last night and noticed our flight number and the time changed to leaving at 5:15 and arriving in Orlando at 8:40, thats a 4 1/2 hrs difference. My husband called and we got on a much earlier flight, leaving at 8:35 am. The customer service person was very helpful but again we were not notified of the change. I'm glad we went on the website. So anyone flying Airtran, keep checking their website to make sure your flights have not changed.
