1. He can still say at least some names. Very cool; I was worried that he wouldn't be saying anyone's names after the initial test we saw last year. If it's a list of canned phrases, they certainly do a good job making it seem fluid. That brings me to my second point...

2. The CM's have been doing an amazing job in all of these videos! I mean, I always thought that the MnG job is tough, especially for a character with a full-body costume, but this is just a whole new level of difficulty! The interactions seem very natural. Great job!

I swear watching these videos almost brings a tear to my eyes. I so LOVE the interaction between the Talking Mickey and the guests. Cant wait to see him and bring my two boys who completely adore Mickey Mouse to see him. My two year old dressed as Mickey Mouse for Halloween this year.

This is amazing!
Can someone please tell me how this works? I've been trying to figure it out ever since I saw a video of a talking Mickey from Disneyland!

He's one of the lost boys from Peter Pan. Not sure why Mickey brought him up.

Yeah, I remember him from Peter Pan, it just didn't make sense in that context so I took a guess. Perhaps one of the parents mentioned that the girls liked him or something - perhaps the type of next gen stuff that would be on trip planning questionnaires that could help personalize the experience.

As for the names of the family and kids, perhaps those could be pre-recorded as well based on pre-planning by parents.

"Toodles" is also part of the MMC tv show on Disney Jr. Its not a chatacter, per se, but like a magic iPad kinda thing... It flies through the air and helps them with clues for their mysteries.
I can't believe I'm explaining this...

:ROFLOL: Don't worry, you're not the only one who knows who he is... My little brother watches MMC all the time... :lookaroun

Yuck.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is such a horrendous show. I actually have a hard time with the fact that the characters in the show are the same characters we've known. Guess I can't see that through the bad animation and structure of the show.

But I do like what this technology ads to the experience.

Are they already implementing the rfid stuff where he knows what rides you been on etc? It sounds like he was talking about a friend back home when he mentioned 'tootles' but maybe I'm missing something.

This is really cool technology. Don't know what's weirder, you talking to Mickey and him only gesturing back in silence or him actually answering you.
Can't wait to see how this progresses.

Huh? "Meeska Mooska Mousekaters... Mouse Cartoon Time Now Is Here". What... I'm the only old guy on the board? He can say what he said - but it's not quite right :).

It would be wrong if it were a reference to that, but If I'm not mistaken it's a reference to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney Channel.
