After Sept 15? Do I have this right?

Hi there,

So I know many of us are anxious for the 2014 discounts to be released. I noticed that the two current offers on waltdisneyworld.com are expiring September 15th. The ones for Free Dining and 30% will be ending. So does that mean shortly after Sept 15th the 2014 discounts will be released? If I am remembering correctly, its not long after one discount expires that another is released. Do I have that right or is it wishful thinking?

There's really no concrete pattern that they follow - chances are that IF they are planning on releasing a discount then it would be after 9/15, but if bookings are satisfactory there is no guarantee that they will release anything to the general public at all. I'm in the same boat as you...fingers crossed for something money saving!!

Something will certainly be released for early 2014.

Last year they released the January/February discounts around November. My 45 day deadline was December 23rd and I was able to call and apply the Stay Play Dine discount.

I remember that the discounts were late October or early November. But I was hoping that they would come out earlier since the deals expired on September 15th and that is just around the corner. Hopefully they will be out soon! I need some money off that reservation! :) HA! :)

Nope, not mistaken, I just checked my posts on another forum and the Play Stay & Dine offer was released on October 10th 2012. Let's hope they keep the same time frame or maybe a little earlier so you can snag a good discount!

Im in the same boat!! Booked 1/25/14 - 2/1/14 but REALLY hope that some discounts will be announced. When we booked for Jan 2012, free dining was announced in Aug. I had to adjust my dates to get it but it is worth it! I am willing to do the same this time if necessary :) fingers crossed that we all get a sweet deal announced soon

They basically extended the fall discount today - it's 15-30% off, depending on resort, for select weeks in November and December and you need to book by 11/3. My guess is 2014 will be after that expires.
