After 100 years of Magic

I think Jammin Jungle will stay, Stars and Cars will stay (possibly leaving to devote a whole parade to Stitch), and Share a Dream will stay. I think ToD will revert back to ToN.

On our Keys to the Kingdom tour, we were informed that the Share a Dream Come True parade will be staying for a while.

I have to say I totally agree with this post. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Actually I think that ToD might be getting a replacement. It will be a world showcase parade that features a character from each country in World Showcase. It will also include performers dresses in the costumes from that country.

Parades at MK

:veryconfu We're heading down to Disney for 10 days from 7/11 - 7/21. When we've gone before, Disney had the electric parades at night. Does anyone know if they still have them...or Spectromagic or anything? Also, why is MK closing so early. I thought they stayed open longer than the 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the Summer...and on their website they list that they are only open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. I checked the E-Ride nights and they coincide with the earlier closing times on Wednesday nights. Any replies would be great!

30 more days and counting until we're at Disney! Woo Hoo!

I hope there is no 101 Years of Magic

I really hope you people are being sarcastic about the 101 Years Of Magic thing...now that would be bad! Why you ask? Well, because then Disney is over doing it. People came to see the 100 Years Of Magic and then you hear about a 101 Year Celebration? It won't be too appealing to people.

After the Millenium celebration, I thought that Disney could never pull off a better celebration. Now, they haven't added any special fireworks this year, so that kind of downs people. Disney MGM Studios should have a firework show, maybe even have Sorcery In The Sky all year round. How cool would that be!

The parades are nice but they don't do justice in the Disney Magic as much as fireworks do. If anything, Animal Kingdom deserves a night time spectacle. My guess, like everyone's, is that Animal Kingdom is the next location for a celebration. I don't know how Disney will pull it off but it will happen. And Animal Kingdom will probably get fireworks too!

Well, of course...my dog's vet's third cousin went to junior high with the same person, so it's definitely legit.

Animal Kingdom closes before night fall because the animals only come out so long. by the end of the day they're mostly sleeping. So I don't see a fire works show for Animal Kingdom. To top it off I'm sure fireworks in that close of a proximity to the animals would give some of them heart attacks. :D

I think a nighttime show at Animal Kingdom would be awesome...and the crowds wouldn't be too bad, either, considering that the park closes around 6 every day. ;)

For the quote, I will KILL YOU! HAHAHAHAHH! :hammer:

Anyway, I think ToD will dissappear becasue of budget, but will re-appear in the summer as ToN (sight :) ).

The characters ideas runs two things. First is that ToD/N is a huge parade, what will they do with all the people as dancers, or the floats? They can't be used again! Second is the business behind ToD/N. Sounds crazy. But think, the parade sells tons of pins, saved the Epcot Kid Funcot Centers, and sells tons of CD's. Plus, every park has a character parade, why would Epcot want one?

Yes ToD is good, but if you saw ToN Millennium Ed., god, that was the best parade ever. And I am not lying here. Everybody who I talked to loved it.

Wonder why Universal dosn't have 20 ft tall puppets yet? :D

I've seen both of them! I still like ToD more, I've only seen it 2 or 3 times, I saw ToN 10 or 11 times. To me ToD is just much better!!!:D I agree about the Universal thing, it will probably come soon enough!
