Agreed but what could they put in that would fit?
Along the pathway towards Pandora would make sense.

Not where, What. What type of attraction would fit well and more importantly tie into the theming?Along the pathway towards Pandora would make sense.
Yet still only one ride and one show (granted arguably the two best in each category in the park).
Point is, Africa needs another ride imo.
Agreed in full. Something Lion King or original would be great.Yet still only one ride and one show (granted arguably the two best in each category in the park).

Pangani is fantastic. Might be my favorite attraction in the park after Everest. I could spend a good chunk of time just in awe of those tigers. It's all in how you look at it...to me, Harambe has two amazing attractions: Kilimarjaro, and Pangani. I can spend upwards of an hour in Pangani. Plus FOLK, plus getting a drink and listening to the band. Soon, you could add getting lunch in an outdoor market. Harambe becomes an experience that could last several hours.
Though I realize many people would find my idea dull. I do tend to be dull.

D'ohTigers are on Maharajah Jungle Trek in Asia, not Pangani in Africa...

Speaking of attractions, I'm curious if Disney's live-action version of The Jungle Book coming out in Spring, 2016 will lead to a ride for AK. Possibly something in a portion of the available plot just to the NE of the Harambe Village Train Station.
Or (allow me to dream) an Australia/New Zealand in the available plot (with a move of Nemo and addition of rides). And a live performance of Jungle Book in the existing theater where Nemo is performed.
Fixed that for you.Pangani is fantastic. Might be my favorite attraction in the park after Everest. I could spend a good chunk of time just in awe of those gorillas.
This is an excellent statement. The ONLY THING holding animal kingdom back from being the best park is lack of e ticket and other level attractions. If it had that, some more greatly themed merch places, it would be perfect.Animal Kingdom is the closest thing we have to DisneySea.

Not sure if you're aware, but animated Jungle Book was the original show in that theater when the park opened:

That theater is in what I term "an interstitial" area, meaning small and not thematically associated with any land... useful for bringing in hot properties, like Nemo, without shoehorning them into other lands/settings.
No. It is here http://www.wdwmagic.com/dining/starbucks-disneys-animal-kingdom/news.htmIs this where the Starbucks is going to be ?
