Just curious if anyone else is going or has gone to the Aerosmith and KISS shows? The one here in Jacksonville is exactly one month from today! I can't wait I'm so excited. I saw Aerosmith on the JPP tour but I've never seen KISS so I'm very excited. I'm gonna paint my face for KISS and wear my Aerosmith shirt so I can show my love for both bands!

I went this past summer...I gotta say, I was NOT impressed.

Aerosmith always puts on a great show in Boston...but KISS seemed to overplay and Aerosmith got the shaft. They didn't even do an encore. KISS came out and played their stuff...put on the pyros, put on the typical KISS show that everyone who was a fan loved...and that left little time for Aerosmith...who came out...did a few older songs, did 3 new songs off of their "bluegrass album" and then played a few more newer of their older stuff (Get a Grip/Pump) and then ended with Walk This Way...and left...to never return.

Ya I'm not too happy about the shortened sets, but I still am very excited just to be seeing them as until a month ago they weren't even coming to Jacksonville which wasn't surprising.
By the way, it's a blues album, not bluegrass.

I'd love to see Aerosmith, but that ain't gonna happen.

Though today my brother did ring me to offer me a ticket to see Meat Loaf at the final UK date of a Farewell International Tour, which is nice... :D

Well that would be awesome. I've seen him twice, once on the Storytellers tour and then again on the "Havin Fun for the Holidays" tour.

We are if they come to New Orleans. We just saw them with Stone Temple Pilots. STP was great then Aerosmith had to come out and top them; and they did! They were fantastic; as opposed to the last time we saw them, they weren't the Aerosmith I was used to seeing. and remember:
It was because of Aerosmith that I met my husband!

Depending on the band order, if i were you, i'd wear ear plugs. Kiss is way too fricken loud. The ear plugs will help filter out much of the distortion. Kiss is entertaining, but at 50+ years of age Paul nor Gene have good signing voices.

KISS is going first at all shows. But ya I'm lookin forward to the loudness, plus we're all the way in the very back so not too close to any amps, I mean I'm sure it'll still be very loud but prob not as much so as if we were down on the floor.
