ADVICE Be Our Guest Reservations

sxeensweet

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
I agree with figment above but also remember you can eat there for lunch as well as a quick service meal without reservations. Atmosphere is the same and you get the choice of which of the 3 themed rooms you want to sit in. At dinner you have to sit where they decide to put you. This way she can still see what it looks like inside. Your allowed to go explore and take pics of everything. Also the food for lunch is really good and the deserts are the same as what they have for dinner. Me and DH loved doing lunch there and plan on doing it again this December. Happy Early Anniversary!! Our 6th anniversary is Nov 3rd and we have celebrated in WDW before as well. Hope you both have a wonderful trip!! :)

I happened to get a reservation at about 8pm looking on a whim and low and behold there was one for 9pm(park close time) I took it anyways almost peed in my pants I was so excited about it. Keep trying at all different times of the day, it just depends if someone cancels and you happen to be there when it happens. If all else fails lunch is an option, I am doing lunch also different menu but same beauty.

I managed to get a 5 pm ressie while staying on property recently for the next night. I would keep checking daily too even when on property, you just never know what will pop up. It was too hot for us to consider the wait for QS lunch so I was extremely happy to get that last minute ADR. The dining rooms are beautiful, the BEAST is not to be missed. The service was good though the waiter we had came with a bit of an attitude. I had the steak and it was excellent. Good luck!

My wife and I recently booked a trip to WDW for late October for our 5-year wedding anniversary. She's obsessed with Beauty & the Beast. I'm trying to get a dinner reservation to Be Our Guest, but it's fullly booked. Keep trying everyday, but no luck!

Any tips?

Just keep calling. I did this and got a much needed CRT ADR a few years ago. Just keep calling. And checking on line. I would do both. Persistence pays off. :) And once you arrive, keep asking and even walk up. Someone might have been a no show. The cc requirement has really helped in getting last minute ADR's b/c people change their minds and cancel. Good luck!

keep in mind anybody on the DDP with tokens not need pay just attach a CC

we were lucky and ours is still at 8:30 =(
Not correcting you (I try not to do that as i dont like to ruffle feathers lol) just think you misunderstood what they were meaning so please forgive me in advance....They were meaning the full pay date for vacation packages not for the dining ressie i think. Lol
But you are definitely correct if on the dining plan you don't have to pay but use the Cc for a guarantee. Your card gets charged if canceled in less than 24 hours prior. :)

We called on our 180 day mark, and were able to get BOG on the 4th night of our trip. It was pretty much the only thing they had open, so we took it. BOG books up crazy fast.

Good luck; hope you're able to find something, especially for an anniversary! We missed out on the special offer period, so I keep calling back hoping to get in on the special offers for our travel dates so we can save a little $. No luck yet. :(

Personally, I prefer stalking the website. It's going to sound obsessive, but I will check 100+x per day if it's something I really want. Considering an ADR can appear and be gone in seconds, you'll have a higher probability of getting something with heavy duty stalking if doing it by the website. For whatever reason, Saturday and Sunday morning have been some of the best stalking time for me.

Beyond that...once you're inside the 45 day mark, things really start to open up. I've found those last 2 to 3 weeks to be the best time to score hard to get ADRs. There are a lot of ADR hoarders out there and they often sure up their plans in those last couple of weeks...since they certainly don't want to get charged no-show fees for the 10+ ADRs they're hoarding.

Also be flexible with time and date. When you search for ADRs, just put in dinner rather than putting in a time - this way it will be looking for openings in the widest swath of time.

If you haven't gotten anything by trip time, you can keep checking while you're there + trying for a walk up can't hurt. If you do go this route- I'd try going to the check in podium outside the bridge as soon as they open up.

good luck!!!!!

If you don't get a reservation before you arrive, ask your hotel's concierge about getting a reservation after you check in. They get a certain number of override codes per day and may be able to work some magic for you.

Excellent advice. Wear one of those celebration buttons when you go to the concierage to induce a magical mood. The later reservations, as another mentioned, tend to open as folks get tired. If you are "lucky" and are there for a Florida rain head for any hard to get restaurant including BOG and you will have a better chance of cancellations. This has worked well for me all over WDW.

We have gotten lucky a couple times doing a walk up. This was usually around 8-9pm. We are a party of 2.
I don't know if you will get lucky in late Oct, isn't that the free dinning time?

We must have common DNA....I prefer the website, have been known to check every ten minutes...AND MOST OF ALL....ALWAYS advise to search for "DINNER" instead of a specific time.

Using those 3 pieces of advice, I would imagine success would be attainable!!
