Anyone remember for Nintendo "Advbentures in the Magic Kingdom?" Great game, but I could never, ever beat it. I could beat every ride except for Pirates of the Caribbean. I could do it all, but then at the end you had to build a fire or something to signal something else, and I could never learn how to build the fire. It was terrible b/c Iknew iI could beat the game, but never officially could.

That sucks...

Once you saved all the prisoners in the final scene, all you had to do to light the fire was walk over to the pile of logs at the water's edge, and it happened automatically. :)

Wasted many an hour with that game.

I still can't get passed Space Mountain!!!

Quick fingers and eyes that can stay just slightly unfocused while staring at the same spot for about 5 minutes...yep, that one was fustrating.

The worst and most frustrating one was Big Thunder. Space Mtn was a neat one, as was Grand Prix Raceway.

But my game never automatically started a fire at the end. So sad, I wish I could officially beat it....

I still only play NES. It was my first and only system, and I only had 6 games for it. I dont like the new stuff, I love my Nintendo and have it up at school with me. Too fun!!

If only I could beat this game...

Just to clarify, you did pick up the candle at the end of the scene just before you climb the ladder and save all 6 prisoners, right? The fire won't start if you skip any of that.

Well, that's odd...what should have happened when you walked over to the kindling was that he would reach down and light the fire using the candle, then sail away in a boat which appeared next to shore. The only thing I can think of is the fact that there were two candles (I think)...maybe grabbing the wrong one prevented the fire from starting.
