Adventure's Club in PI

Didn't the Adventure's Club in PI used to have a shop or something that sold t-shirt's and such?
We just got back from a nice 7 day Disney vacation and was disapointed that there was no shop there.
When did they get rid of it or was t never there? Maybe one to many trips to the Twilight Zone in TOT for me.

I love AC. I don't ever recall them selling any merchandise there. The only thing that I know of that you can buy, is the drink mugs that the "Kungaloosh" comes in.

PI is Pleasure Island and the Adventurers Club is an intercative bar/club at Pleasure Island.

:hammer: Opps sorry-- never go to Pleasure Island, too young at heart Ha Ha! LOL Went once a few years ago when it first opened. Just not one of the places that comes to my "ole" mind.

Although I do think one of the club houses for children does have that name--

I think your thinking of the "Neverland Club". It's sort of a babysitting service for kids at WDW.

I have never been to this club... I know... I will go for shure on my next trip though... but what is a "Kungaloosh" ?

Kungaloosh is a toast that you perform at the AC, many times throughout the nite. It's also one of their signature drinks.


Kungaloosh Adventurer's Club

1 1/4 oz Vodka
1 1/4 oz Malibu Rum
3/4 oz. Midori
2 ct. Pineapple Juice
1 splash Cranberry

When we went in 1999 there was a little shop.
We had plans to get a t-shirt for a gift on 2001 trip and the shop was gone
Not sure why, I guess it did not get enough business.... It was in kind of an easy to miss location.

anyone want to tell me what the experience at the club is like? i've heard a few things when i worked there the only place i ever went to at PI was the comedy club, which was packed with about 90% of the audience always being CP castmembers like me :lol: the show was always full of CM jokes :lol: :lol: :lol:

I know that, early on, I bought my Adventurer's Club polo shirt at a shop called "Avigator's Supply". Don' t know if it's still there, since we haven't availed ourselves of any babysitting services during trips since the Tigger Boy was born. It used to be right next door to the Club.

Hi everyone sorry i have joined this thread a bit late but i have to be the AC biggest fan along with my fiance who proposed in the club next to the statue of Posiedon! There was a shop in 1998 i bought a few pens, the merchandise is now very collectable on ebay i hear. Try this website www.theadventurersclub.net it is great! I must beg to differ on the recipe of a Kungaloosh though as i took a picture of the cocktail menu last year so i could make th
em at home so this is THE DEFINITVE Kungaloosh! Equal measures of Captain Morgans Original Spiced Rum, Blackberry Brandy,Strawberry Juice and orange Juice. They are lethal!!!What did you want to know about the AC experience?

I had just pulled the recipe for "The Kungaloosh" off of a website, so it could have been wrong.:animwink:
