Next stop was really one of the highlights of our trip, the
Jeanie Johnston :
On board the
Jeanie Johnston we were introduced to your Story Teller Paul....AMAZING..
The Jeanie is a replica of a three masted barque that was originally built in Canada. The Jeanie Johnston made 16 voyages to North America without a single life lost!! This was all thanks to a kind captain and a gifted physician!

By this time we are all getting a wee bit hungry and it was off to the Guiness Factory for lunch and then a tour of the factory. There was a little suprise waiting for us at the end of the tour...

By this time it is just about 2 pm and we have done soooo much! Now we had an option to spend the afternoon on our own or take an optional tour of the book of Kells and the Library at Trinity College.
I want to make a note here. I have been on other tours and optional always meant, the tour company will offer this tour to you but, it is at an extra cost. NOT Disney, it's your choice to go, it's included in your price but in this instance, Kelley and Kristin could only get us inside, they tour was up to us. It was fine, it was a beautiful walking tour. We could not take pictures of the Book of Kells by the Library is amazing. Looks a little Harry Potter(ish).

After the Library we were starving! We went back to the hotel to check in briefly with our Adventure Guides where where Kristin and Kelley recommended The FARM for dinner.
http://www.thefarmfood.ie/ Excellent Choice!
We walked around the city a bit and passed thru the Temple Bar area this completed our list of things we wanted to see. We started to head back to the Westin. Day 3 is a busy one....
