I've been to the Adventurer's Club a couple times, and I've always loved it. However, I've always managed to get there late, despite my best intentions. Well, now, for obvious reasons, I'd really like to get the whole experience. What time do the doors open, and, more importantly, when do you recommend arriving? I'll be attempting to go this Friday (if anyone else is planning on being there then).
Thanks!

Well, in the past, it was a crap shoot because some nights, it would be rented out for a private party. Recently, they changed the opening to 8 from 7, but I hear that it's going back to normal.

I like to catch the whole night every once in a while because the early shows are fun and help establish the story. My mind is drawing a blank right now, but I believe the first library show, the Welcoming Party (with Samantha Sterling, Fletcher Hodges, and Emil Bleehall) starts around 7:45, this is if they've gone back to the normal schedule. Prior to this there is some interaction in the Main Salon with Graves, Pamelia, Otis, Fletcher, Samantha?, and Babalonia I believe. After the welcoming party, the library shows are Radio Broadcast, Balderdash Cup, Radiothon, Samantha's Cabaret, Maid Sing-a-long, and the bon voyage HOOPLA!

Also, I don't know if this happens nightly, but one time, I saw Emil Bleehall in the middle of PI interacting with the DJ and a guest before "arriving" for the Welcoming Party.

What is (was) the premise of the Adventurers Club?
How does the show operate- do people sit with drinks while entertainers perform routines?

How is it different from the Comedy Club?

Tks.

The best thing you can do is Wikipedia Adventurers club.:wave: It is much more complex than the Comedy Warehouse..

I'd like to know how, especially since it closed back in September of 2008.

:confused::confused::confused:
A group has rented it out for a big hootenanny that's open to anyone who ha$ the mean$ to $how up to the private $how on 09/27/09.

PS: holy thread revival, Batman!
