Adventureland Veranda open for the Holidays!

They`ve been doing this the past few years around major holiday times along with Diamond Horseshoe and sometimes El Pirata. You know, the places that always used to be open?

Got a shock around Halloween 2007 when they were open. Hadn`t been inside since the 90's.

Both of which were open also.

Thanks! I'm still not picturing where that building is. Is it right when you walk into Adventureland from the Hub, on your right? Or is it past the Tiki Room on your right? (or neither? lol)

Aloha Isle is the small, square white-roofed building. Adventureland Verandah is behind it on either side. The Verandah also included a couple of covered outdoor seating areas overlooking the Hub waterway to the right edge of that building, but these are closed off and now used for storage. (You can *faintly* see them as you cross the Adventureland bridge, but the folliage has really grown up in front of them)

And if I'm not mistaken, AV has/had an upper level seating area and possibly serving counter, too. But this is all closed off now.

I've never been in there, but I will have to ask my brother if he remembers it from his childhood visits, my grandparents took him for 2 weeks a few weeks after it opened...:)
