Adventureland Bridge

Does anyone know if it will have similar (or better yet, the same) signage? http://image16.webshots.com/17/8/89/46/178788946TksQOY_ph.jpg

And I will be very sad to see those torches go if they're being given the boot. :'C

Edit: Never mind, SeaCastle confirmed.

The signage is going to be fairly uneventful. It will be similar to what was there before.

Thanks for the confirmation. I wonder if they will install something else, though.

It appears as if they're just putting 4 posts with suspended light fixtures.

They are removing all themed items, putting black bed sheets over the sides to cover the scenery and installing interactive TVs.

A part of me wonders what the clearance underneath is for the new bridge after flattening it out. While I don't see the Swan Boats ever coming back, it's always a good idea to at least keep things open and available for future use, rather than totally killing any chance.

I agree. My mother always mentions how she never had the chance to ride the Swan Boats when she was a little girl, so it would be nice to perhaps see something similar in the future.

I really hope they don't remove the torches completely. All the Adventureland entrances around the world involve tiki torches I believe, except for Paris. As it stands, MK's bridge was already less detailed than its foreign cousins, despite being based on the same general design.

Here's HKDL's:

And the nicest of the lot, Tokyo:

DL's and Paris's are very different from this bamboo scaffolding look, so I won't include them. It's too bad we probably will never get the original design from Dorothea Redmond. If they really wanted to impress, they would build something more like this:
