I dont really know the land situation around adventureland but don't you think if it is possible Disney should add an E-ticket attraction to adventure land?

E-ticket is a term for a large-scale and/or more thrilling attraction. Space Mountain would be an E-ticket, while rides like Dumbo are C or D. As for the land, the only thing I remember is the Fire Mountain rumor for Adventureland.

They could probably do one next to Pirates, but there is alot of stuff back there. They would have to close down the railroad again and move some of the backstage things I think. Went on the Backstage tour a couple of years ago and can't remember where everything was placed.

There was a thread about this not to long ago...

As you can see in this picture there really isn't much space. To the right is the path between Adventureland and Frontierland, North is Splash Mountain and Pirates is to the South. Everything to the West is Parade storage and support facilities.

I wouldn't worry too much about the space issue in MK. Keep in mind, when they added the Indy ride to Adventureland in DL, they put it completely outside the berm, and installed a queue that's almost longer than Main St. But fortunately, it's extremely well-themed and no one really cares that you have to walk so far to get on the ride.

So, as long as there's a space to put a show building within .5 mile of any given point in WDW's adventureland, they could add any ride they wanted.

so is that a possibility for MK's next prject? i know adventureland needs something to spread things out a little bit. I was there 2 weeks ago and fronteer land and tomorrow land were insanly crowded while adventureland didnt seem crowded at all

P.S. i know there is nothing in the mix yet for adventure land

Nah - they could get another Splash sized show building inbetween Splash and PotC - there is nothing backstage until the parade building (I think) that can`t be moved infrastructure wise. However, and I hope I`m right, the next MK project new build will be on the REAL 20K plot.

 i thought 20 K already had something temporary being put there? I was thinking they would put that...then maybe add to adventure land then finish up the 20K area...maybe?

It's not like the Magic Kingdom is land locked or anything.
What's to prevent an E-ticket from being built outside of the railroad tracks with a bridge or tunnel to get to it?
Anyway all those support building could be moved.

The sheer cost to move all the support buildings alone would be enormous. There's also the canal that links Seven Seas Lagoon with Rivers of America--something would have to be done about that. Then there's also that road that runs around the MK (the name of it elludes me right now). It's just not logical to build something right there. To me, it almost seems like the park's out of balance right now as is--Splash, BTM, Mansion, and Pirates all lean towards the West while the East has Tommorrowland and part of Fantasyland.

I agree with you that Fantasyland and Tommorrowland need it more.
I was just saying that it was possible, though I'll admit highly unlikely, that it would be done; that the railroad doesn't necessarily mean that it's the end-all of borders for the park.

I just got a large satelite map today, and it is certainly possible, but like everyone else has said, it would be a pain. The 20K site is MASSIVE and is much more likely to get the next major expansion. Toon town is ripe for demolition to create an even larger parcel to be developed on. The Indy Speedway is also another spot that could provide massive room for expansion. I think it makes much more sense to expand where there is more available room first. And after they fully develop the 20k area, I would imagine they would not be likely to expand the MK so largely again for quite some time.

E-ticket? What's that?
When Disney Land first opened all rides were graded A - E. A grades were the tamest rides up to E grades which were the "thrill" rides (nothing like the thrill rides we know today)
