My understanding is that it is is due to a combination of easing the system during the Easter break crowd as well as testing for four choices. It's not do to last much longer, at least during the test phase. Could see it come back permanently at a later date.

I dunno, I made my fastpasses today and it did it so either it didn't end or the system is messed up right now.

FPs for MK are auto adding a 4th for the next few days. It is a test of the system durring a peak time. If you already picked FPs for MK they are adding an extra for JotLM or iasw - I think you have the option to change it like a regular FP via the website. You should see the extra FP added 48 hours out from the day you picked FPs for.
(The Inside Mice say it's expected to last untill 4/12 if not longer.)

The site will not give you the option to pick a 4th FP – it simply auto assigns one that you can change once it’s done that. Right now that auto assigning is only happening about 2 days out from the use date of the FPs. Also the test is only planed until the heavy spring break period ends (April 12th). They might extend it out another week.

OMG.. I am floored. I had Wishes for my 3rd FP at MK on Thursday and from my phone at dinner tonite I went to see if I could change it to 7DMT which has never shown available for the past 2 weeks I been booked to be at WDW this week. IT ADDED 7DMT and Buzz and Mermaid ride.. I am practically freaking out I now have 6 FP's for Thursday at MK. I am not even sure what to think but you can bet money that I have printed a hard copy of this.
