Adding image to thread

When I click on the insert image link nothing happens. All of the other tools work fine. How can I solve this problem?

Are you trying to inset an image off of your computer or one on line?

My comp. runs on windows XP though, in case that helps.

You are more than likely running internet explorer.....

Right click on the picture and select properties. A window will pop up ans in that window will be the web address for the image. Highlight it, right click and select copy. Select the insert image icon (when available) in reply window on the forum. Paste in the web address. When you hit submit reply is should appear in your post.

Not not all threads support images...ie Technical Support & Feedback/Suggestions does not.

You should be getting a pop up window right in the middle of your screen. The manual way to add it is to cut and paste the image information and put

around it. ie

Hmmm apparently when I told you, I didn't have to put the spaces in. Haha, oops.

I thought that if I put

, it would try to create an image from what I put in between the brackets

One last thing, are you able to put an image from your computer on the forums or does it have to be hosted online?

You will need to upload it to your photo album or to an online photo hosting site like photobucket or Picassa. I have a free photobucket account expressly for that purpose.
