Adding a day at a Waterpark?

OK I know you all have your fav Blizzard Beach or Typhon Lagoon.
But we are going for 7 days/6 nights on parkhopper passes. I'm thinking we might want to spend one day at a waterpark, as we did not do this last trip, kids were very little and pool was lots of excitement for them.

This trip, I know they will love a day at a waterpark.
So should I call and add that to our tickets or just buy 4 one day passes if we decide to go??

Thanks in advance, not sure which way to go with this one.
I know weather is a factor as well.

If you bought Magic Your Way tickets, it will cost you $50 per ticket to add on the "Water Park Fun and More" option. On your 7 day ticket, that would give you 6 days admission to Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, plus Disney Quest, Pleasure Island, and the Wide World of Sports Complex (which charges the same admission if something is going on there as when it is empty, for some reason).

A one-day water park ticket would cost you $37.28/adult and $30.89 per child.

If you bought the no expiry option on your tickets, then the $50 is worth it, without question. If, however, they expire and you only have one day to use the water parks, you may want to buy a single day ticket.

I have particularly bad luck with weather and water parks and must have 8 days of admissions to them saved up on years of old park-hopper plus tix.

If you are leaving after July 15, sign up for the newsletter at mousesavers.com. Sometimes there are great discounts there.

I'm also staying for 7 days and i added the water park option and park hopper. I do plan on visiting both water parks but i "scheduled them in" as half days cuz from reading all the posts, thats how long it takes to do a waterpark. The park hopper is great because the day we do a water park, we can finish early afternoon, take a nap at the hotel and go bak out round 3-4 and head to another theme park. I guess it depends on your itinirary and what your family plans to do but the water park option i think is a great idea.

My suggestion would be to just buy the ticket. If you have Disney Visa, you get a discount as well.

I would suggest you check up on this, for some reason, I seem to remember that even with the no expiration of park tickets that the water park/PI option does expire. Not sure, so just check on that.

If you have No Exp., get the "options" added. If not, buy the one day ticket. We had a 7 day with no exp. and options. There are still 3 options left and they will never expire. So it is unlimited when and what we want to do with them. So sad, though, the days are gone, gone, gone:(

BTW.....go to TYPHOON LAGOON!!!!!!:D

Add my vote for TL, also.
Make sure you have some of the mini donuts. They are amazing!!

Another thought is that if you add the water park option, you could always go to a water park in the morning and afternoon, have dinner at your resort, and then go to DisneyQuest for the evening.

DisneyQuest is a lot of fun. Although the layout is VERY confusing at first. Make sure you get a map, otherwise you will be like my group, running up, down, and all around the five stories trying to find "that one attraction we saw on our way in." The elevator is pathetically slow, so the stairs are much quicker.

If you're planning on hitting a waterpark and at least one other thing that is included on the 'plus options' (BB,TL, DQ, PI, WWoS), get the plus options regardless of having no-expiration or not. You will save money.
