Access to the Contemporary?

I'll be down there for the 999 Happy Haunts Event on the 27th of October.

I am going to bunk with my brother and his wife for one night (can't get away from work to spend any more time, hence sharing their room for one night), now he is considering staying at the Contemporary and may buy the Gus package which includes the rooms.

Will I be able to get to the hotel through the MK parking pass gates without some sort of paperwork? I know that some people go to the Contemporary to eat without actually staying there so will I get hasseled?

It sounds like you plan on leaving your car in the Contemporary lot overnight.

People who are going to the restaurants get a 3 hour pass to put on their dash. Guests staying at the hotel get a length of stay pass after the guard checks the list for arriving guests.

To prevent any sort of hassle, your relatives should add your name to the reservation for one night (which might cost a fee) so that your name would be on the list when you come in. (Have ID ready)If they leave instructions at the front desk, you could also pick up a key to the room, after producing ID.

I've preceeded my husband to WDW many times, and this has almost always worked for us...except we didn't pay the fee for more than two adults, of course.
