Wasn't there a Jim Henson bust or something out there too? That'd be nice to move over to Muppet Courtyard.I hope that at least the Walt bust will find a home somewhere (not in storage, Ebay, or Bob Iger's basement).

I guess it was a mosaic I was thinking of.Not according to this site..

They probably think it's a miracle that the company did as well as it did being run by someone with so little regard for stock price. The exces were probably like, "who's this old irrelevant man" :/
I wouldn't think the main sign would still be up at this point if it was going away entirely

Perhaps they are replacing the busts with ones that directly relate to the park? For example, Walt Disney stays, possibly Rod Serling, George Lucas, and John Lasseter are added. Just a thought.
I can picture the headlines now.I'm imagining something like this:

I believe there is an entrance or exit from the Hyperion theater under the sign which is probably why they haven't removed it yet, assuming the whole thing is being removed.
I see your point....there is much less chance of things you love someday going away if Disney owns them. No licensing agreements to expire! Think how different things would be if LucasFilms was still just a licensing agreement. Of course, I say this all as Pandora gets closer to completion...Guessing that if it isn't owned by Disney it is going away park wide. PS-- I am a big fan of this strategy. It will create a very coherent and immersive park. Opposite from the original version in most aspects. Win.
Do you have any idea why they are removing it in the first place?
Food and Beverage? Is this confirmed? Seems random but would be interested if it brings new flavors to DHS. I find their food to be the worst among the parks.
Seems like yet another clue that the park is really moving away from its tv/movie/production theme. Hmm....
