? about $200 gift card

I plan on buying an AP when I get to Disney. Can I use the gift card towards my AP?

I can't imagine why you couldn't. A gift card is a gift card, so long as it's spent at WDW you should be able to spend it however you like.

But, if you are already planning on getting an AP you could always use the tickets included in the package towards it, too. It wouldn't probably cover it all, but it would be a good chunk towards your AP.

I presume that the $200 gift card is a flat-out Disney Gift Card, because the page about the current promotion says in the fine print to check the disneygiftcard.com website for details about the card and its usage. If it had the same limitations as the birthday card, I doubt they'd send you to that site.

The BIG question i would like to know for sure is this:

Can the $200 Disney Gift Card being offered in the current Jan thru June Promo Package be used towards DINING/RESTURANT service at the WDW Parks?

On MouseSavers.com, it notes the card CAN be used for dining..but does not go into details. 'Dining' could mean snack cart fair...it would be a nice plus if one could use it to purcahse sit-down meals On Property.

I'd assume the card is good for all Disney Dining Options, but no good at the operating partners.

Also, it doesn't appear that the card expires like the birthday gift card does. It'd be as if you'd walked into your local Disney Store and bought a gift card with $200 on it. So you could save it for use on a future WDW vacation, a trip to Disneyland, or going shopping at your local Disney Store.

The card is a gift card to be used to purchase what you want from dining to merchandise while at Disney so yes you can use it for dining.

I was wondering that, myself...although it matters little, since we won't be going next year.

at this rate I wouldn't be suprised. I just got an email for free dining for april 19- june 27, but theres a pin number involved. too bad too, I posted the offer on here so people could take advantage of it without seeing the pin in fine print.
