For the past few years I have noticed a rather depressing part of the Magic Kingdom. When you reach the end of main street and go right at the ice cream parlor you end up at an abandoned counter service known as the "Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station." If it was a small area it would not matter as much, but it could easily hold a couple hundred people. Opening it up would help distribute the crowds in other counter services such as The Starlight Cafe and Harbor House. Walking through it makes the park seem dated and simply not up to standards. Please take part in the poll to create a collective voice on this ongoing issue, and/or add your opinion to show it is important enough to do more than simply click a button.

Thank you for your support.

We have always been there between busy seasons, so we assumed that it was just closed for the season, but I agree that to see it never used is a sad thing, and something that I think Walt would be furious about. If it's not in use then for heaven sake fix it so it can be used. I think that it could be reopened as a sort of Noodles and Company type of resturant, serving everything from Mac and cheese to hotdogs, but it should not be left to just sit and take up space. If you can't think of something to put in there then open for seating and resting, turn it into a green space or something like that.:veryconfu

I actually think that even if it isn't opened as a noodle station they can at least resort to burgers and the sort since it is basically guaranteed to do a decent business. Though, they've had this same problem with the taco place at the end of adventure land which has only been open two days in four trips for me. These "inconsistencies" are just little things that progressively build up over time to give a misleading image of Disney as a whole for those attending the park for the first time.

For some reason no type of restaurant seems to do well in that location anymore. Which is why they tried the noodle concept in the first place. Seems like it would be better to do something else with the area altogether since they're already adding more counter service in the Fantasyland expansion.

I`ll vote yes since although I understand why it is closed it is very bad show. The lines at Cosmic Rays at peek times dictate this area needs a good quick serve food place. But, like how Odyssey could relieve the Electric Umbrealla I doubt it will happen.

I`ll also vote yes after having visited Disneyland for my first time, and being quite surprised by the sheer volume and choice of eating places, all of which were open.

I think they should open it back up, it's nver open when i go down. I think once in all my trips it was open but that was a while back. I'd try it out if it were open more.

I'd love to see it open again but in truth, I'd much prefer them to reopen Aunt Polly's. Even seasonally for fried chicken and corn on the cob would be better than shutters and a vending machine.

I voted "No, it does not detract from the park" for purely selfish reasons. I like to hook the right and sneak through there when the throngs of humanity are bottling up at the end of Main Street trying to decide where to go. Makes a nice short cut. Few people means free passage!
Of course I'm only there once a year, so you all please feel free to do whatever you like during those off times.

I suggest they build the area up to good sit down restaurant. They could do a character breakfast with the characters from the Toy Story movies. You know they would fill it each day just with people looking to get into the park earlier.

What magic kingdom needs is good food period. I can't emphasize enough how crappy MK food is at the $5-$15 price point...a man can only eat so many nuggets and hot dogs etc...

What do you mean? It's open almost everytime during the busy seasons. The seating area on the left is used for the fireworks dessert party. The last couple months the noodle station has been open serving everything from chicken sandwiches to noodles.

MK is getting a new and much needed sit down restaurant for dinners. Be our Guest.

The one place I do not understand why they do not reopen as a sit down restaurant is Adventureland. When I was a kid it used to have an asian sweet and sour type foods. Now I do not really want that, buthow about an Ohana's type atmospehere themed restaurant?

MK has always been lacking sit down resturarants. I am at a stage in my life that a nice dinner is important, not only rides. Fast food is good for lunches :)

I voted yes, even though it is always open we we have gone anyway.

Cosmic Ray is irrelevant though, as it was just background noise to me.

Aunt pollys looks cool even though i don't think it was open when i first went (2006)

It is open seasonally or when crowds dictate.

True, but that is not often. The OP is totally right that it is depressing walking through that area. It's a nice chunk of land and building. Maybe, just maybe TDO wakes up and renovates it. Why not renovate it with a futuristic dining experience. Touch screen menus that are capable of putting orders through without talking to a waitress. When your drinks are low you can put the refill order through the screen and what not. You could even have condiment buttons and condiments could come up from the table or something. I think this would be so cool and people would love it and if done well enough it could actually be an attendance getter.

It was open when i visited last year in July. I was wavering about whether I should try it or not because the reviews I had read on other sites were not overly optimistic. I left but came back deciding to try it out, I ordered my lunch there and was not pleased because of the taste of the food. I think as others have said it needs renovating. While doing so make an upgrading on the food. One of the reasons I tried it was because it wasn't the typical burger/fries combos that are everywhere else. Upgrade but not a top priority.
