Don't worry. Those storms always go limp.

No double entendre intended. I can think of a few alternate interpretations, but the worst ones would require a level of depravity that I rarely sink to (probably only three or four times a day).

I think you're right about the storm. Yesterday CNN was calling it a possible "snow event", but the rhetoric seems to have cooled down.

(let's just hope it doesn't pass through any large, Viagra storehouses)

We increased from 30% to 60% chance and possible 4 inches by Thursday night/Friday morning... so the forecast has changed a bit here. :lookaroun

Damn that Viagra!

That doesn't sound too bad. We won't be to North Carolina until Friday evening anyhow. If it's supposed to come by morning, things should be clearing out by the time I get there (and 4 inches doesn't sound to bad). Last year we stayed in Richmond, so as long as we can make it that far by Friday evening, we should be good.

Thanks Jamie!

What time does the bus leave? We'll be packed and waiting for you at Olga's. We don't take up much space, and we don't eat a lot. :D

My second favorite breakfast in the world is Olga's "Barnegat Bay" bay breakfast!:slurp: (My favorite is the one at the Garden Grill: "Would you like some more fat to ladle over your sausage?":slurp: :slurp: )

There's not a lot of room in the back seat of a Celica. Anyone who thinks they can stand 16 hours back there is welcome to come along!

(oh. . . but there's a good chance your luggage will have to stay at Olga's)

Hmmm... 31 seconds.. you aren't allowing much room for error. Either you are very organized, or a good BS-er. :p

May be a little earlier than that, but there's no way it will be later than that!

Whooaaa . . . wait a minute. A ride is one thing, but I'm a bit picky about who I share my bed with. Noah looks like a nice guy and all, but how do I know he doesn't snore?

Hey Gary:

I'm not trying to rain (or snow) on your parade, but the outlook for central Virginia doesn't look good. Depending on which source one uses, we could get anywhere from 1 to 8 inches. The local weatherpeople have the most severe outlook. The silver lining is that this snow is to start Thursday night and end by mid-morning on Friday, so by the time you reach Va., the roads (interstate only) should be clear. The rest of us will be trapped, because this town can't handle snow.

Have great trip, i'll be trapped inside thinking about how nice it would be to be in the "too hot" AK.

Yeaaahh, I've been seeing the same reports, but I'm also optimistic it will be clearing by the time I get there.

Thanks! I'll wave on my way by.

Have a safe & happy trip, Gary!!! Take good care & keep an eye on things before your trip. I don't have much experience with snow & related hassles, but I do wish you a safe, enjoyable trip!

Oh, no, no.... I can guarantee you he doesn't. I married him. :D I'm a very light sleeper, and he's quieter than Harley. :)

Of course, Gary, you are presuming that we're sleeping! :lookaroun

 This just reminded me of an absolutely hilarious, obscene Donald Duck audio that was going around the internet many years ago.
