It looks like there's an invading army of snow swooping in to cut off my travel route. I'm planning to leave New Jersey 2:30 Friday afternoon, and I've seen some mention of snow. They're now saying the snow should hit to the south, but that could be a bigger problem.

I was hoping to stop over in North Carolina Friday evening.

Is anyone in the Virginia/North Carolina/South Carolina area hearing anything? How much are we expecting and what's the timing?

I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya bud...I hope everything works ok :) (here's a bit of confidence...when I left in early December...we had a blizzard and still took off :) )

Thanks MBB, Spidey and Freak! That makes me feel a lot better. I'm used to driving in snow, so I won't have a problem unless it gets really bad. I'm just afraid if it does swing into the south and states that don't usually deal with it, they may need to shut down highways, and/or traffic could be impossible.

I think so. Since it's a 3:00 start, I'm thinking of heading over around 4:30 for an early dinner. I'll probably miss the first half.

My friends at work were saying I'll be in enemy territory, but I don't know. I'm guessing there might be more Eagles fans at the Resorts, but more Bucs fans at the ESPN Zone.

Not sure about Orlando. I know that down here on the east coast you'd have no problem finding Eagles fans to party with. We have alot of you northern types down here!
