How is everyone tonight?

I'm waiting to watch Ice Dancing on the Olympics tonight. I hope the American team does well.

I always wished I could ice skate, but it was not meant to be.

I was a pretty good roller skater in my younger days though. I made it all the way to advanced backwards and could do some other tricks. (Those were some great times...........).

Now I use my rollerblades every once in a while which are very different from roller skates. More difficult I think because of where the brake is.

Ice skaters from around the world should PAY me NOT to watch. Every time I tune in, WHAM!!! someone ends up on their keister, and their medal chances disappear.

Been awhile since I've been in here! But I heard that I was missed, and that made me feel special. Anyways, just life and school and my wolvies and spending far too many hours talking about Stargate over at GateWorld (that place is far too addicting). I probably should be writing my paper that's due tomorrow morning, but I'm procrastinating. I've got a pile of Torri Higginson movies to watch, and a bag of Tim Tams to boot! *curses the US for not selling Tim Tams now that she's addicted*

I can somewhat accept figure skating as an Olympic sport....it has jumps and whatnot.....but Ice Dancing.....it is less of a sport than curling


As Lewis Black said....."Oral $ex should be an Olympic sport, as it is harder than Curling EVER will be, and if you are good at it, YOU DESERVE A MEDAL!"
