ok....nurses

The Methylpresnisolone says that Day 1, I take 2 tablets at b'fast, 1 at lunch, 1 at dinner, and 2 at bedtime

It also says that I should start the medicine on the day I get it, even in late in the day.....that I can take all 6 at one time if needed.

Is this right? (I assume so, it is on the mfg package), but if it is right, why do they want you to take them through the day, in which you may forget....especially since it says that stopping the medicine early can have bad effects?

Yep, you can take all of Day 1 at once...but only day 1...its the loading dose. All other days you need to take as directed. Did he tell you to taper off too? You really shouldn't stop cold as your body can go into shock.

I love when they start scooching around... come right before crawling...Katie used to go backwards and I'd find her half under the sofa. :lol:

You beat me to it. I assume you are on a Medrol Dose Pack so tapering down the doses should not be a problem if you follow the directions correctly!!! If you are on short term steriods (usually less than 7 days) then you should not have any problems with adverse effects of stopping the medication.

Also a good idea to take the medicine with milk or food.:)

day 1 has 6 pills, 2 has 5, 3 has 4, 4 has 3, 5 has 2, and 6 has 1

I really hate taking pills :(
