Cool what about Halloween & Christmas at the park?

I'll save that for when the time comes. But for now, there's a whole world beyond the theme parks of Walt Disney World that's left to discover. So let's get crackin'!

Disney Water Parks
Take a breath and dive right in to these watery worlds of fun and fantasy as only Disney could dream up. There are only three water parks located here at Walt Disney World, but each provides a wondrous array of slides, surf and sun.

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon
200px-TyphoonLagoonWaterParkColor.png

Typhoon Lagoon, which opened on June 1st, 1989 (a month after Disney's Hollywoodland), is a more tropical-based water park. Legend has it that a terrible typhoon caused chaos on a tropical paradise, rendering the entire place seemingly wrecked (that's why there's ships, fishing gear and surfboards strewn about all over the place). But perhaps the greatest tragedy is that it marooned the Miss Tilly shrimp boat atop Mt. Mayday, never to be brought down.

But if there's one thing the good people here are known for, its their sense of optimism. They kept the place open to the public, where this bizarre style was very-well recieved.

To be honest, I really wouldn't do much here. I've seen plenty photos and videos of it, and it seems like a really nice place. But if you have any ideas for ways to improve Typhoon Lagoon, post em here!

Disney's Blizzard Beach
200px-Disney%27s_Blizzard_Beach_logo.svg.png

Blizzard Beach, which opened on April Fools Day 1995, is just about a fitting April Fools gag as anything could possibly be: snow in Florida! Ah, but unlike many April Fools gags, there's actually a story behind it.

You see, apparently a snowstorm accidentally hit Orlando, and ever-inspired, the Imagineers built a ski resort. But of course, the snow didn't last long. And just when it seemed all hope was lost, they noticed a blue alligator sliding down the melting mountain. The Imagineers soon discovered the potential the melted ski resort had as a water park, and the rest is history.

Now, again, like Typhoon Lagoon, I'd leave this place alone, too. And just because I can, here's a relic from my childhood days: this clip from an old Disney Sing-Along VHS that I used to watch all the time when I was little. So, let's join the fun, because this party is "hot, hot, hot"!

Blizzard Beach

2) Teamboat Springs
3) Slush Gusher
4) Downhill Double Dipper

Ah, but we're not stopping there. No, because an old favorite is coming back. Prepare to once again return to...

Disney's River Country
Disney%27s_River_Country_%28logo%29.png

River Country, which opened on June 20th, 1976, was a rosy-eyed tribute to the good ol' swimmin' holes of America's past. I would re-open this park to the public, but this time, use regular water-park water (the one with the chlorine inside it). But apart from that, I'd, well, leave it exactly like it is.

Sorry if this wasn't much. Truth be told, I haven't been to the water parks at all. But, again, if any of you out there have any ideas for improving the three water parks of Walt Disney World, post them right here!

In the next post, we'll discuss Downtown Disney...oops, I mean Disney Springs.

This, my friend has become my new desktop background. I applaud you.

Thank you very much, my friend!

Now then, let's keep on truckin' and visit one of my favorite spots in all Walt Disney World...

Disney Springs
dsodso938777.jpg

Disney Springs opened as Downtown Disney on September 7th, 1997. Before that, it had a history as the Lake Buena Vista Shopping Center, but many people nowadays are more familiar with this famous entertainment complex. Now, as I said before, the area is turning into Disney Springs, sort of a tribute to the old towns of Florida, with four distinct waterfronts--the West Side, the Town Center, the Landing and the Marketplace.
http://www./wp-content/uploads/2013/03/DS-Model-Nighttime1.jpg
True, I wouldn't change much here, mostly because I'm anxious to see what will be coming when Disney Springs fully opens. But for the moment, here's what I would change.

First of all, there's the issue with DisneyQuest. It seems to have lost the wonder and popularity it did when it first opened. So, with that case, I'd give it quite a refurbishment. In fact, I was largely inspired by Captain Aperture's idea for DisneyQuest, so credit to him!

For these ideas, we were both largely inspired by Tron and Wreck-it Ralph, as well as @Captain Aperture's idea for improving DisneyQuest.

The main hall will be re-themed to resemble Game Central Station--the place where the characters that inhabit Litwak's Arcade can jump from game to game.

833048_9.jpg
The area has simple open doorways showing off a glimpse of some of the rooms, and partly obscuring the upper levels (which we'll get into later). This area will be a safe haven for those who want to sit back and relax with potentially a bite to eat from Tapper's, a family friendly restaurant and bar calling back to the video games of old with themed foods and drinks, the specialty being, well, beer of the root and garden variety.

In fact, the elevators themselves will be given the WiR treatment, with Ralph and Felix replacing the Genie in the movie on the elevator. In fact, these two will become the unofficial mascots of DisneyQuest.

Also, in Game Central Station, there's seating outside of Tapper's for rest after game sessions, and an area for meet & greets with Ralph and Vanellope.

character-meet-ralph-vanellope-00.jpg
Leaving Game Central Station, the second floor of DisneyQuest has been turned into Litwak's Arcade, where Wreck-it Ralph takes place. The area is filled with all those classic games of yesteryear--Mario, Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Tapper's, Sonic, Altered Beast, Q*bert, Street Fighter, Pong, Paperboy, Dig Dug, Qix, Frogger, Burger Time--basically, if it was referenced in Wreck-it Ralph, you'll find it here! But apart from all those wonderful games, the area also features a 3D movie themed around Wreck-it Ralph, the Bake-a-Kart (ala the sequence in WiR, compete with other guests to make theirs the fastest in a test after the "baking" process, and purchase a physical model of the kart they made if they want to), as well as full-fledged replicas of Sugar Rush and Hero's Duty, as well as Fix-it Felix Jr.

Moving on up, we have Level Three, themed after the original TRON. Intricate designs of various colored lights arrange themselves along the walls and floor, 80's Rock and Pop music plays on. One of the main attractions up here is the Lightcycles. Here, guests actually climb into replica retro Lightcycles to play the classic game in the first person in a 4-player, last man standing, free-for-all. Plus, if one doesn't want to use the simulator, they can play on replicas of the original arcade machines from the movie. Some are hooked up to the same game the simulators are playing, and others are separate. There's also Space Paranoids, which is also a first-person simulator based upon the game from the film. It is also available in standard cabinet form, for those who don't want to/can't use the simulator. Both have footage from the game/inside the cockpit playing on screens for those waiting in line. Lastly, there's the Make-A-Game, where guests are showed and taught how games are made, and how to make a retro platformer that they can take home on complementary thumbdrives/MagicBands.

Then, there's Level Four, which is themed after TRON: Legacy. Here, the newest games reign supreme and Daft Punk hits play on. Everything is slick, feeling like an upgrade upon the previous level, blending both the original and Legacy aesthetics of TRON. Here, guests can not only compete against other players in multiplayer games for bragging rights, but the biggest, if not the SELLING POINT-EST ATTRACTION IS ON THIS FLOOR.
What is said attraction, you may ask?

THE GAME GRID. Part E-Ticket, part competitive game, and part spectator E-Sport, this is what will bring customers to DQ.

But what is the Game Grid?

It's simple. Part experience and part show, a group of 8 guests are hooked into simulators ala the Disk War simulator and duke it out for disk supremacy as a Mega-TRON (see what I did there?) shows the audience the in-game action with accompanying commentary from a CLU2/Zuse stand-in.

The eight competitors are narrowed down to four, as they now enter the Light Cycle portion of the tournament, riding in a last-man-standing match.

The last competitor is then given two options: bow out and recieve an exclusive pin (available only by winning the games)...or play double-or-nothing in a Disk match with nobody else but Rinzler.

If the player can beat Rinzler in a 1V1, all-or-nothing match, said player gets the standard pin, along with an exclusive pin for beating Rinzler, and their name engraved onto a plaque on the wall as a GAME GRID CHAMPION!...That is, unless they fail. In which case, they're sent on their merry way to try again another day.

There's also the CLU Laser Maze, where Players must navigate a maze of laser lights to escape CLU2's grasp.

There's also the End of Line Club. Meant for older "users," guests can relax, have specialty drinks and foods, and dance to the latest and greatest electronic music, in addition to being a throwback to ElecTRONica.

Finally, we have Level Five. This entire floor is devoted to the Walt Disney Imagineering Blue Sky Cellar. Here, guests can get in touch with their creative side and learn more about the art of Imagineering. Guests can take a look at the many projects Disney's cooking up for their parks. Plus, there's also the Amazing Destini, a figure that entertained guests at the 2011 D23 Expo. This is a full-fledged real-time AA figure. And to be honest, you gotta see him to believe him!

On top of that, in honor of the "creative" spirit of the floor, here you'll also find the Animation Academy, CyberSpace Mountain and the Living Easels, all of which have moved up from Level Two. But to me, the big draw here would be Imagineering the Future. This is where you can design your very own Disney park, picking and choosing from elements from Disney parks worldwide (even those attractions that aren't with us anymore.) The best part? After you're done, you can step into a simulator and explore the park yourself. But if you don't want the fun to end, no sweat. Once you're done creating, as you're inside the simulator, a special thumbdrive of your park is made, and it can be hooked up to one of your gaming systems so you can continue to explore the park!

Meanwhile, the West Side will be given a little bit more nightlife. Much like how DCA is doing, a special type of nighttime party will happen every night. First off, a stage will be built nearby Cirque du Soleil, featuring Cirque-style performances. The greenspace in-between Bongos and Starbucks is big enough for a main stage for DJs, performers and a live band (like DCA), and small lighting towers could be scattered through the space and pathway. This nighttime party would bring a lot of guests to the West Side and sell a lot of food and beverages. The theme is less important, so just put out an event that makes people want to be there and come back again and again.

Well, I guess that's all I'd do for now (I'll wait till Disney Springs officially opens before I can make any more changes).

Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor mantenganse alejado de las puertas.

That's right, just as I promised, it's time to take a ride on the...

Monorail
10414862-large.jpg

The Walt Disney World Monorail is as old as the resort itself, taking guests on a relaxing trip to various stops. There are three major routes the Monorail takes:

Express: From the Transportation and Ticket Center to the Magic Kingdom. Travels counter-clockwise on the outer loop.
Resort: From the Transportation and Ticket Center to the Polynesian, to the Grand Floridian, to the Magic Kingdom and to the Contemporary. Goes clockwise on the inner loop.
Epcot: From the Transportation and Ticket Center to EPCOT Center.

But however, I'd make a few changes to the system. First things first I'd add a few new loops to the Monorail..

First would be the Hollywood loop, going from the Transportation and Ticket Center to a themed monorail station at the entrance to Disney's Hollywoodland, then back to the TTC.

Next, we would have the Animal loop, going from the Transportation and Ticket Center, to Disney's Animal Kingdom, then to the Animal Kingdom Lodge, then back to the TTC.

Finally is the Mythica loop, going from the TTC, to a monorail station that will serve as a stop for three different places: Saratoga Springs, Disney Springs and Mythica.

Next of all, I'd like to address the monorails themselves. As we all know, there are currently 12 monorails in the fleet: Red, Coral, Orange, Peach, Gold, Yellow, Lime, Green, Teal, Blue, Silver and Black. Although they are a mighty fine fleet, I'd like to bring back two retired members back into service: Monorail Purple...
car-at-disney-world-monorail-purple.jpg
and Monorail Pink.
6343334428_8c07358943_z.jpg
Both Pink and Purple were retired from service due to the infamous crash of 2009. But I say, we should welcome these two back to the fleet, bringing the total up to 14 monorails (trust us, we're gonna need 'em come peak season).

Now, a major problem many people have with the monorail spiel is that it's dull, it's boring. So, in that sense, I'd bring back the Joe Hursh narration, as well as give him some new spiels for the new lines.

Finally, I'd like to discuss the hub for the monorails: the Transportation and Ticket Center. Don't hate me for this, but I personally think that the area doesn't look warm and inviting. So, what I'd do is turn the area into something called Disney Square.

Guests enter Disney Square through one of 5 different arches (each one representing a different park--Magic Kingdom, EPCOT Center, Disney's Hollywoodland, Disney's Animal Kingdom and Mythica), and find themselves in a beautiful garden area. In the center of the garden lies a fountain featuring the whales from Fantasia 2000, and above them, Sorcerer Mickey, making waves appear. Surrounding them are golden versions of Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Winnie the Pooh, Pinocchio and Dumbo. At night, the true majesty of the fountain shows, with beautiful colors and music.

A lush golden building marks the new Transportation Station. Here, guests can board one of Disney's many forms of transportation--be it an elegant ferry boat, the majestic, stylish Monorail or-an ever so handy Shuttlebus--and journey to wherever their day's adventure lies in store. The inside of the Transportation Station is inspired by Disneyland Paris' Disneyland Hotel. Inside lies a fantastically designed atrium where travellers scale flights upon flights of stairs and lushly decorated elevators all leading to loading platforms.

To the far-right of the building, guests will find Mickey's Gift Station, offering various goods and wares. Nearby, you'll find a small kiosk selling coffee, soft drinks and pastries (perfect to give you that zip that gets you through the morning).

Surrounding the area is the lovely Central Station Gardens and baywalk which features a lovely few of the Seven Seas Lagoon.
The gardens, littered with millions of colorful blossoms, are divided in five sections each representing the 5 corners of Walt Disney World.

So, there we have it--the new and improved Monorail System and the new Disney Square. Any thoughts or critiques?

In the next post, I think we'll take things easy and enjoy the resort TV loop. See ya then!

Well, just like I promised, it's time to kick back on the resort bed and turn on the TV, where of course, it's set to the main resort TV loop. This loop allows you to take a look at the Walt Disney World Resort at large, complete with looks at some of the lesser-known things to do here.

Now, honestly, I'd really like to bring back the original early-2000's TV loop, so that's what I did here in my ideas. So, with that said, come along and join me once again on the...

Walt Disney World Tour
sb60gc.jpg

I'd recommend watching the video along with me, because a majority of this will be the same, albeit with some of the descriptions changed.

(The Walt Disney World Tour loop starts out with that classic claymation opening, seen from 0:00 to 0:25. From there, the scene fades into a white area (I don't know how to describe it) where we meet our four hosts: an Asian-American woman in a
pink shirt, an African-American man in a purple shirt, a Caucasian woman in a blue shirt and a Hispanic-American in a yellow shirt (who originally hosted the thing himself in the original 2000 version. The other three didn't come along until the 2001 loop). For your convenience, I'll color-code their lines based on the shirts they wear.)

Welcome to the Walt Disney World Resort!

All year long, we're letting you show off your "Disney side" (this line will change depending on what the year's promotional campaign will be).

You know, there's a whole lot to do here.

Especially with new stuff to do in all five theme parks.

So, you're probably wondering "what to do first?"

How about watch this show, and see how to make the most of all the Walt Disney World fun. So stay tuned...

And keep watching for us. We've got some tips to make every day of your vacation a "zip-a-dee-doo-dah" day!

So the 3d WiR movie is a new animated short?

I'm pretty sure. Anyways, let's move on, shall we?

Walt Disney World Tour
continued

This part starts at the 4:04 mark.

(After the Disney's Hollywoodland segment, we once again come across the letters. But this time, they're a little mixed up...
mhMgG7.jpg
After they get straightened out, the screen fades into the next segment.)

Beneath the branches of an enchanted tree is a world of whimsy where imagination runs free: Disney's Animal Kingdom. Welcome to a living storybook filled with fantastic creatures, amazing adventures, incredible encounters and moments you'll cherish forever.

Every morning, just before opening, Disney's Animal Kingdom hosts The Adventure Begins, a celebration filled with all your favorite Disney characters. Oh, be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early to get a good spot.

Disney's Animal Kingdom is many things to many creatures, but it is definitely nahtazu (for those of you who don't remember, that was their slogan at the time, and if you don't get it, just sound it out.) The Tree of Life is full of surprises inside and out. Outside, its trunk is cloaked with a tapestry of over 300 hand-carved animal images. But inside, you can experience the many lands animals call home, from earth to sea to sky in Earth.

In the afternoon, paths and trails all around come alive with music and laughter during Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade.

(At this point, since they talk about Camp Minnie-Mickey, here, they'd talk about Pandora, but I don't home how to describe it in this style.)

Then, set off for Harambe, an Eastern African coastal village, the hop-on point for Kilimanjaro Safaris. On safari, you'll trek across 110 acres of African savanna, surrounded by real freely-roaming wildlife. But beware--the poachers are nearby! Then, join Simba, Timon and all their fuzzy friends for a fun-filled magical musical celebration at the Festival of the Lion King! Just beyond Harambe stands Mystic River Mountain, a bizzare boat trip through a supposedly cursed jungle.

Asia boats another mountain, where an age-old legend comes to life in Expedition Everest: Legend of the Forbidden Mountain.
Take a spin through South America on the Amazon River Adventure, where white waters and twisting currents always make a big splash! Right nearby, cure your fear of bugs in the hilarious 3D spectacular It's Tough to Be a Bug!

Dive into the Great Barrier Reef and come "sea" Finding Nemo--The Musical, a live stage show re-telling the heartwarming tale of Nemo, Marlin and Dory. Prepare for a prehistoric thrill unlike anything you've ever imagined as you blast back in time to face flaming meteors and hungry predators on Countdown to Extinction! Finally, at night, watch as the Discovery River comes alive to weave nature's tale on the Rivers of Light.

This is Disney's Animal Kingdom, where every day is an unforgettable journey into stories you've only dreamed of. Come--let your imagination roam free!

(What follows is the first of quite a few of the fondly-remembered "Tip for Today" segments. From there, we see another theme park segment.)

Make a wish...you're about to enter a world of dreams-come-true where elephants fly, teacups dance and lifelong friends are made every day: the Magic Kingdom.

Welcome to a world of fantasy with seven magical lands of timeless fun. Enter Tomorrowland, a world of the future that never was. Rocket through the galaxy on Space Mountain, one of five Magic Kingdom mountains. Then, take command of your own Star Cruiser on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, enter the Encom computer system on TRON: The Game Grid and take a journey that's sure to put you on Cloud 9 onboard If You Had Wings.

Across the park in Frontierland, plunge five slippery stories into Brer Rabbit's briar patch on Splash Mountain, then hang on for a runaway ride on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. At the farthest edge of the Rivers of America, you can take the Western River Expedition to the Wild West. Just watch out for the Thunderbird!

In Adventureland, take a voyage with the rowdiest buccaneers that ever sacked the Spanish Main on
Pirates of the Caribbean, then become part of the Circle of Life at Legend of the Lion King. Then, take an exhilarating adventure into a volcano on Journey to the Center of the Earth! Right beside Liberty Square, 999 ghoulish ghosts await your visit to The Haunted Mansion.

Anytime you feel like a hug from Mickey, you'll find him backstage at Storybook Circus in Fantasyland. He's there all day long!

In Fantasyland, children of all ages fly, ride and gallop through classic Disney tales. You can explore the Beast's castle, fly to Never Land with Peter Pan,
soar to new heights of imagination with Dumbo, see the world through a child's eyes, journey under the sea with Ariel, bounce, float and laugh through the 100 Acre Wood and explore the Seven Dwarfs' diamond mine. Plus, you can even enter the realm of Disney villains on Bald Mountain, if you dare!

Magic Kingdom afternoons bring their own special enchantment. Every day, watch as classic Disney stories come to life during Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade. On special nights, all eyes light up, from the smallest children to the grandparents who think they've seen it all. The streets are filled with smiles and laughter as the incredible SpectroMagic sparkles its way into your heart. Every night, look high above Cinderella Castle for the dazzling display that is Wishes: A Magical Gathering of Disney Dreams.

The Magic Kingdom--where happily ever after happens every day.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With that, we'll stop for now. In the next post, we'll explore EPCOT Center and Mythica. See ya then!

Are you also going to do other resorts?

Well, I do have plans for a potential "dream resort" in my home state of Maine, so I'll share that sometime soon. And I do have some plans for refurbishing Disneyland, but not a lot of plans for that.

But anyways, let's move on!

Walt Disney World Tour
continued

(This part starts at the 10:32 mark.)

(After yet another letter mix-up, we explore the next park of Walt Disney World.)

Discover EPCOT Center! It's unlike any theme park on Earth. In this wondrous place, the fun and imagination of Disney come together with the innovation of the real world, and every smile and every laugh bring the sparkle of new discovery to faces from around the globe.

Welcome to Future World! At Spaceship Earth, spiral through time to see how far communication has come. Here at CommuniCore, you can head down the "road to tomorrow" and touch the future. At Horizons, take an exciting journey into the possibility of the future. Buckle up for the ride of your life as you create your own car and take it out for a spin on Test Track! On the Journey Into Imagination, join Dreamfinder and Figment on a quest to see what gives the mind that little "spark of inspiration". Take an exhilarating flight on Soarin', a hang-gliding adventure over some of the world's greatest landmarks. Plummet miles to the ocean floor to explore The Living Seas.

Think you've got the right stuff? Then hop aboard Mission: SPACE, an adventure unlike any other, where you help fly a spaceship on the first flight to Mars.

Then, set off on a world tour that's just steps away: World Showcase. Here, Cast Members from every corner of the globe welcome you to delight in a festival of sights, sounds and flavors from 13 different countries. Around every corner, the stage is set for unforgettable surprises. Inside, delicious cultural cuisine awaits in beautiful restaurants. Outside, statues come to life and musicians entertain throughout the day.

If you have children in your group, be sure to check out the Kidcot Fun Stops all around World Showcase.

That's where you can create all sorts of wondrous things from around the world.

Check your guidemap for exact locations.

In the evening, share the enchantment as imagination comes alive in the Tapestry of Nations, a joyous procession of color and music that invites you to join in the revelry. And at night, the skies over EPCOT Center erupt in a triumph of sheer Disney magic: IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth! An amazing symphony of lasers, lights and fireworks piercing the night sky in a living spectrum of color and song that will long burn brightly in your memories.

A day's journey at EPCOT Center will take you around the world, inside a storm, millions of years back in time and lightyears into the future. Discover EPCOT Center!

(After another encounter with the letters (this time, it'll be the one that played before the Disney's Hollywoodland segment), we segue into the newest part of the tour...

And by the way, credit to @ScorpionX for creating this part of the spiel! I honestly tweaked a few things.)

Surrounding a magic beanstalk is the newest member of the Disney Parks family: Mythica! Seven lands of fantasy and storybook fun await in ways you've never seen before.

Join Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and all their friends on A Frozen Adventure to relive the smash hit feature from Walt Disney Animation Studios. This timeless tale is made even more magical with such songs as "For the First TIme in Forever" and "Let It Go".

Fly over Halloween Town and follow the adventures of Jack Skellington as he tries to take over Christmas on The Nightmare Before Christmas.

The ancient myths of Greece and Rome provide an excellent backdrop for Hercules: The Muse-ical!, a spectacular production telling the iconic tale of the strongest god on Mt. Olympus.

Over in San Fransokyo, it's up to you to fight evil on Big Hero 6: The Adventure, an exciting thrill that sends you on a soaring, unbelievable adventure to save the day once and for all.

Peter Quill has secretly invited us to come to the StarPort from some Xandar Rocket Testing. You'll blast through fields of galaxies while listening to the best hits of the '70s and '80s.

Deep inside Mt. Prometheus lies a little-known shortcut to the Earth's core. Along the way, you'll encounter crystal caverns, rivers of lava, and an ominous and foreboding Fire Monster. Take the plunge on the Journey to the Center of the Earth, if you dare!

When night falls, gather 'round to hear The Secret of the Beanstalk. Darks spirits have taken over Mythica, and they've pitted all the realms against each other for ultimate power over the Beanstalk. It's a spectacular commotion of lasers, fire, water, projections, and lightning that you'll never forget.

The Secret of the Beanstalk can host a lot of people at a time, so make sure to get your spot on the lagoon at least 45 minute before showtime.

Come explore Mythica, a land of adventure and exploration as only Disney could create!

(After this, we come across the yellow-shirted guide...and his four clones.)

Hey, did you know that you don't have to wait in line to ride some of your favorite attractions?

(They all rush off, the last one giving a "Woo-hoo!" before rushing off.)

Because only Disney theme parks offer Disney's FastPass. (Yes, I'd much rather they have the original FastPass again. I'll explain at the end of the post.)

Just look for the sign at selected attractions and insert your park ticket. You'll get a complimentary FastPass with a return time stamped right on it. Then, go play all around the park! Just come back at the designated time with your FastPass in hand and zip into the fun!

Oh, and be sure to check your guidemaps for attractions that offer Disney's exclusive FastPass service. Well, gotta zip!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, there we go for now. In the next post, we'll make a splash at the Water Parks and Disney Springs.

Now, before we go, I would like to address the issue of Disney's MyMagic+ service. For many, it didn't really work well, and to me, it just seems like they're doing it to ensure guests stay on property.

Well, I would get rid of FastPass+ and restore original paper FastPass again. But however, I would introduce a new version of the Key to the World card. It would have the MyMagic+ logo on it, so that way, we wouldn't have to get rid of the new hotel entrances and park entrances.

That's all for now. Gotta zip!

Thanks for your great ideas, I hope to see many more future ideas from you :)

Thank you very much! As soon as I post this part, I'll more than likely begin my Disneyland Maine idea, so be on the lookout for that coming soon! :D

But for now, let's continue our tour and hit the water parks...

Walt Disney World Tour
continued

(This part starts at the 14:23 mark, then watch till the end.)

(After a brief advertisement stating what's coming up next, we see a section themed around the Disney Water Parks.)

Take a deep breath, close your eyes and plunge into three different worlds of wonder at the Disney Water Parks.

Thrill to the chills at Disney's Blizzard Beach, an alpine ski resort slowly melting in the Florida sun. Race on an ice-capped mountain of pure exhilaration. Reach the peak of fun as you plummet down Summit Plummet, the world's tallest water-slide! Or, just cool off on a leisurely lap around the ice flows. Blizzard Beach: it's not just a water park, it's a force of nature!

Lockers and towels are available for rental at all of our water parks. So, bring your swimsuit and dive in!

Cast away your troubles in a tropical paradise at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, where excitement reigns in one of the world's largest wave pools. Beautiful fish and spooky sharks swim right along with you at Shark Reef, and balmy breezes blow in sheer relaxation along a sandy island beach.

Disney's River Country lets you kick off your shoes for an honest-to-goodness, all-American good time. In a down-home swimmin' spot where everyone slides into laid-back fun in the sun.

(After another "Tip for Today", we see a section themed around Disney Springs.)

Welcome to Disney Springs. Here, you'll find the biggest names in food and fun from the biggest cities on the planet, and some of the best shopping on Earth.
This metropolis of fun is the perfect place to kick back or kick off your heels any time of day.

Shopping at Disney Springs tempts the senses with art, fun, entertainment and so much more, like the incredible World of Disney store, filled with more Disney merchandise than any other store on the globe. Down the block, check out the LEGO Imagination Center, where creativity comes alive.

Dining at Disney Springs restaurants takes you from the Rainforest Cafe, a wild place to shop and eat, to the out-of-this-world taste sensations of Planet Hollywood. Enjoy tantalizing Cuban creations at Bongos Cuban Cafe, delectable Mississippi delta cooking at the House of Blues and world-class Californian cuisine at Wolfgang Puck Cafe.

Head into a new dimension of fun at the incredible DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park. Here, you can design and ride your own roller-coaster, battle virtual villains and let your imagination go wild. On top of all this, Disney Springs is the only place in the world your family can enjoy the Cirque du Soleil show La Nouba. Created exclusively for the Walt Disney World Resort, this marvel of beauty, music and daring artistry defies explanation and, at times, gravity.

There's something to do to tempt all the senses at Disney Springs.

(This segues into a sequence based around the rest of the resort.)

You've played in the parks, you've splashed in the surf, but your Walt Disney World fun has just begun. There's so much to "zip-a-dee-do" here on vacation!

Sports fans, take a tour of the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. This is where you can find the NFL Experience, an actual hands-on punting, passing and kicking contest that will get you out of the armchair and let you quarterback for real. The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is the premiere sporting destination for amateur and professional athletes alike, and it's the official spring training ground for the Atlanta Braves!

(After this, we once again meet the yellow-shirted guide.)

Me again! So, you've seen a lot of Disney fun and there's more to come. How are you gonna see it all? As a Disney resort guest, there's only one ticket you need: the Magic Your Way ticket!

(Yes, the iconic giant ticket mascots are back, and better than ever! However, here the iconic yellow Park Hopper ticket is joined by: a purple Magic Your Way ticket, a blue Water Park Fun and More ticket and a pink No Expiration ticket. They strike a heroic pose.)

Show em what you got!

(A beat, then they strike the same pose again.)

No, like this!

(He snaps his fingers and it cuts to a montage of the tickets interacting at the parks.)

The Magic Your Way ticket lets you enjoy all five Disney World theme parks as often as you like, every day of your vacation. But, if you want to explore more than one park in a day, just add the Park Hopper option.

If you want to explore the Disney Water Parks, DisneyQuest, the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and more, just add the Water Park Fun & More option. If you want to save some of your vacation days for a future trip, just add the No Expiration ticket.

If you don't have one yet, just ask at Guest Services in your hotel lobby. But right now--I gotta zip.

(He dashes off, then dashes back in to get the tickets.)

Whoops! Forgot my ticket! Don't forget yours.

(After this comes another "Tip for Today", a segment based on Disney's BoardWalk, the golf courses, various forms of recreation, the spas, another "Tip for Today" and a segment on Disney Dining. After this comes a brand-new ending.)

Well, that's it for now, everybody. Five theme parks, three water parks, plus various other opportunities for fun.

We really hope you enjoyed joining us on the Walt Disney World Tour.

We hope that this tour has given you a little taste of what you can explore during your stay.

So, from all of us here, see you later and we hope that every day of your vacation is a "zip-a-dee-doo-dah" day!

(After a few commercials for what's new at Disney (like the New Fantasyland, the Wild Africa Trek and such), we see a brief bumper featuring paper versions of the emblems of the five theme parks against the sun. The announcer tells us to stay tuned for fun things to "zip-a-dee-doo" during your stay.

And from there, it all starts up again!)

And there we have it--the new Walt Disney World Tour! I don't know if there's anything else I forgot to cover about the resort, but my main priority, of course, is the theme parks. So, if there's anything else you want me to cover, send a reply my way!

See ya real soon!

I didn't expect to return to this, but one of the biggest news stories nowadays has led me to go back and change something rather important.

You see, Eastern Airlines has recently announced its return to the airline business. And with that wonderful news, I've decided to send Dreamflight back to Walt Dated World and instead revive its predecessor, the Eastern Airlines-sponsored If You Had Wings.

Once again, I have some changes I'd like to make. First of all, I've decided not to use my idea for a refurbished Wishes and instead leave it as it currently is.

Plus, I finally found a replacement for Dream Along with Mickey: a show concept I call Remember the Magic, a show celebrating the best of Disney. For more information, click here: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/...ovated-walt-disney-world.893775/#post-6454846

Finally, I refurbished my Fantasmic idea, adding a new Woody's Roundup segment replacing the Pinocchio puppets and gave a different view on my Pirates of the Caribbean segment idea. Click here: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/...-walt-disney-world.893775/page-3#post-6468897

If you have any feedback on these new concepts, please send a reply. See ya soon!

I love your ideas! My comment would be the monorail fleet would have to grow a lot to provide decent service to all of the parks. I also would suggest that you have the HS monorail line have a station at Epcot and use Epcot as a location for a second TTC.

Guys, I'm in a bit of a pickle. S.W. Wilson of Ideal Buildout has recently uploaded his own take on WDW's 5th gate. This park is also called Mythica, but here, the name makes a bit of sense, since the park focuses around the many myths that make up the history of our world--from King Arthur to the ancient Egyptians.

Look here for more information: http://idealbuildout.blogspot.com/2015/02/wdw-fifth-gate-mythica.html

Now, I'm hard-pressed: I love the new idea, but then again, what of the original Mythica in these plans? (the one with a beanstalk for its icon and featuring lands themed around the villains, Star Wars, some of Disney's fairy-tale features, Greek myth and Big Hero 6).

Well, to be quite honest, I think the new Mythica has a better set-up than the original. And I don't know if I already told you this, but the original Mythica plan was for a potential 3rd gate for Disneyland, hence why they have Star Wars and Marvel in the plan. With this new Mythica, we can keep Star Wars and Marvel in Disney's Hollywoodland, and expand on a couple of extraordinary new ideas. After all, many people complain that Disney World doesn't have many original rides nowadays. Plus, both parks have a Greek myth section.

And yes, although Britain, Egypt and Norway are already represented in World Showcase, the World Showcase areas mainly just highlight their culture. These new areas take us to worlds we've only learned about in history class.

But, I'm still a bit apprehensive about giving up some of the work I've put into this (but I am already thinking about moving a couple things to the other WDW parks). Now, most times, I've already put my thoughts into my decisions, but this time, I want you to help me out.

Using the poll above, help me decide: which Mythica should be part of my plan for Walt Disney World?
