a tuff, but not very exciting trivia question

Mickey gives you directions for pirates of teh carribean
"Bamboo.7, Pirates have ransacked the island and are holding 6 villagers captive.
Please rescue them and light a signal fire so that we will know that they are safe."
mickey also give the intro for haunted mansion....
"999 Ghosts are in this house.
But they are always looking for number 1,000.
Be carefull--they might want you!"
and it seems to be mickey again for Big T M Railroad, but i seem to remember goofy being at the end of this one.
i don't feel like typing out the intros to any more of these. my attention span is shot.
but mickey also give the intros for space mountain and autopia.

Geez, I feel like such a geek here, but since bamboo_7 provided the intros, I'll handle the exits. I'm not gonna type them out word-for-word, but basically what happens with each is:
Goofy gives you the key at the end of Thunder Mtn. in his Western garb and tells you not to waste time yakking with him.
An old man thanks you for saving the village and gives you the key in gratitude at the end of Pirates.
Pete begrudgingly hands over the key (in a surprising show of honesty and integrity) at the end of Autopia.
Goofy says something along the lines of "Gawrsh! You don't look like a ghost" and gives you the key after you beat the Mansion.
Mickey (in his space suit) congratulates you on a successful flight and retrieves the key from Star F after you beat Space Mtn.
There are plenty of discrepancies here (such as WHY you have to beat 2 of the attractions when Goofy is just holding the key himself) , but plotting wasn't exactly the game's strong suit.
Also, here's a little bug: at the very beginning of HM, if you touch the boss before he flies away and you die, HE will say "sorry, try again" instead of Mickey. I only got this to happen once, but it's kinda creepy.

Is that pete's real last name? i never knew that. i only knew him as 'pete' or 'panhandle pete'
yea, i've seen that. i had forgotten about it though.
there have been a few really good Disney games for console systems. this one is probobly my favorite. either this one, or one i have for Game Gear called 'Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse'

You mean "begrudgingly"? I was just using that as a descriptor for his demeanor when he gives up the key.
And yeah, "Castle of Illusion" was pretty good. There was another one starring Mickey that featured him in all his different "eras," starting with a B&W level based on "Steamboat Willie" and moving forward. Can't remember the name. There was also one for genesis featuring him and Donald going through some sort of Dreamland-type setup. Can't remember the name of that one, either.
I do, however, clearly recall "Mickey Mouse-capade" for NES. Man, I grew to hate that game. Minnie was SUCH a pain in the @$$!!

ha ha ha. my mistake. i guess this is what happens when you are half asleep and trying to multitask. i didn't recognise that as an actual work. my mistake.

the one where mickey started out in B&W at steamboat willie, is called 'Mickey Mania'. i have it for SNES, but never really got into it.
i'm not sure what the donald duck game youa re refferring to is, but i have one game gear game called 'Lucky Dime Caper Starring Donald Duck'
i also have a Tale Spin game for game gear that is pretty good.
I just checked out the profiles of the two other guys who know a lot about this game, Herbie and Wilt Disney, and we were all born within about a year of each other, so i guess those born around the time that we were truely are the 8-bit NES generation. and i couldn't be more proud.

I played some game where disney characters race through disney world
i think you are reffering to a more recent game. I bought 'Walt Disney World Quest Magical Racing Tour' last summer from World of Disney (in the marketplace in downtown disney) for around $20 i think. I first saw this game during that same trip at inoventions west. this is a really neat cart style racing game, where the courses are all based on WDW attractions. Its a lot like mario cart, with a disney theme, starring chip, dale, and jimminy cricket and a bunch of new characters. i know it is available for PC and PSX (i have seen the PSX version for $5 or $10 at Babbages -- now called Gamestop). i highly reccomend this game.
