A Selective Limo Service--still operating?

All-
The past number of trips we've used A Selective Limousine Service in Orlando (the same group mentioned in the Birnbaum's Guide) for our MCO-WDW transfers. We've had great luck with them...good rates, great service, and convenient transit times. We've found that using them gets us to Riverside at least 45 minutes earlier than the old Mears Shuttles and gives us an hour or more in the parks on departure day. They gave us the Birnbaum's dicount rate last time and we paid $60 less with tip than it takes us to get to O'Hare from our house at this end. The last time we used them was in October of last year.

I am wondering if anyone out there has used them recently or has current reservations with them. I am trying to set up a reservation with them and have not gotten a response to several messages left. This leaves me wondering if they are still in operation. I am using the phone numbers on their site with no luck so far.

Does anyone have any info on them?

Thanks!
Dave

Have you tried using the Magical Express at all? Besides its first year in operation (I think they were still learning:)), I can get off the plane, on the ME and to Pop Century in less than an hour - usually 50 minutes. I don't think you can beat that if you have to wait for baggage claim and rent your car.

That being said, never used the Limo service, so I don't have any helpful info - sorry!

I'm with Amy on this one, I highly recommend Disney's Magical Express. The timing isnt bad slightly over 1 hour for most of my trips, and I love the idea of not having to go to baggage to pick up my luggage at all. Definitely a perk!!!
That being said, I have heard many good things with Quicksilver and have used them once myself years ago ( prior to DME) Hope this helps!!!

Sorry folks- I think I may be one of few with a bad experience with Quicksilver. But....it was awful. I have never been treated so poorly and disrespectfully. Our agents from Mousefan Travel can attest to the lack of professionalism and customer service that we were given. After they (Quicksilver) made a mistake in quoting our transfer costs, 1 day before our arrival they discovered their mistake and demanded we make up the difference in cost (substantial $). When our agent intervened and produced written quotes for the trip, they canceled our transfers altogether and left us hanging 24 hours before we landed in Orlando. So much for service and magic.

We also had a less than stellar experience with Quicksilver. Ours was more a situation out of all of our hands when fog caused us to miss our connecting flight to Orlando. We ended up having to pay more because the driver had to stay on duty to get us which is fair. I could tell they were annoyed by the inconvenience. Oh well. We used a different service on subsequent trips (the name escapes me just now) and they were fabulous. I don't like using limos on the arrival because of the fact that if the unexpected happens it becomes a major issue trying to update the limo company plus it creates a situation where I could get hit with extra fees. I'd rather just have the limo to return to the airport because it takes some of the sting of leaving away.
