a salute to stupid guests

We brought my 2 year old daughter last year because the rest of us wanted to go. She had a great time, we never bought her anything to shut her up other than a snack, she still remembers parts of it, and we knew we had to get her away for breaks before she had meltdowns.

By the way, I like asking stupid questions just for the fun of it, and hopefully to bring a smile to a CM during a long day. For example:

1. At the entrance to Small World, "Do they serve beer in there?" Actually, I like asking this question all over the place.

2. At Spaceship Earth, "Has it ever come loose and started rolling around?"

3. At Everest, "Who cleans up the Yeti doo doo?" And, "Does Yeti doo doo make good fertilizer?"

4. At the Norway Pavilion, "Mind if I take your Viking Ship out for a spin?"

5. When ordering food, I ask alot of dumb questions, like, "How much is the __________, for me." (As if I was someone special.) "Does that dessert come with cheese? Or ketchup?" When the counterperson or waitress asks, do you want anything else, I'll often respond, "Yeah, do you have any money?"

Hopefully my stupid questions aren't too irritating.

I think I would get very annoyed with you very quickly

Someone needs to write a "Real poster of genius" parody.

They could use a bunch of posts in this thread as source material.

You make a remark like this and yet accuse the other GUEST of being racist??

i wasn't implying that that is a normal action of the race...but if someone said something particularly offensive about myself, culture or race, i would want to give that person a talking to..with my fist.

One reason why some guests ask when the 3:00 p.m. parade starts is because it does not start at the same time everwhere. For example when the parade in the Magic Kingdom starts in one area of the park at 3:00 p.m. it will be after 3:00 p.m. when it starts in another area of the park.

Yeah, and lets face it,when youve had a hot long day at disney, silly stuff like that starts to pop out of your mouth, haha, its humanly mistakes..we all do it!

Well, if there's any place you'd need a drink...

Hey, how do you think Disney gets such beautiful plants?

You might want to consider an anger management class then.

if you dont have something nice to say - dont say anything at all.

The only 2 stupid guest moments that stand out to me are...

1. The foreigners trying to get into the Disney Studios with Universal Studios tickets and not understanding why they weren't allowed in. I can understand the confusion, especially if you don't speak English, but that was a pretty big mistake lol.

2. The people in line behind me at Jungle Cruise talking about how it was a BRAND NEW ride that just opened.

But the worst ones are agreeably the ones who are walking in front of you and suddenly come to a dead stop. The other day some lady was just sitting there in the middle of an EXTREMELY crowded walkway with her ginormous stroller, making it impossible for people to get around her. Comon people - use your brains!

It *could* have been the rear half.

WDW new menu offering A__-O-Chicken. Feel the magic :D

I see a day not too far down the road when fellow forum members will be touting their favorite Disney theme park cuisine:

"On every trip that I take to WDW, I HAVE to eat at least one Dole Whip and an A__-O-Chicken!!!"

Phonedave----You might want to hurry up and trademark this before it's too late.

Taking children to wdw while they are young is a very good thing. It helps develope their brain and motion skills. Children who act up and are disrespectful...well that is all on the parents. Bad parenting is the cause for that imho. My dh and I took my dd when she was 3 months and in sept for her 1st bday and let me tell you something...seeing my one year old reach out to mickey during a picture and kiss his nose...is priceless! My dd would try to say mickey every time she saw him. How can anyone say that children under the age of 3 dont need to be brought to wdw? An example of good parenting is taking your child out the exit door when she gets scared and starts crying because of Flik on its a bugs life or taking your young child back to the resort around 1 to 2 pm for 3 hours so that they arent in the sun all day. It is all on your parenting. Once you have children...you perspective on life changes a great deal.
