I was just at EPCOT last week. We were actually walking through on Friday and it was really busy.

A few northern states had winter break last week or the week before. It's just scheduled week off school to get a break from the cold weather. Also Louisiana schools were out all last week (Mardi Gras) as well at it being Magic Music Days at WDW which means many large groups or teens in the parks.

If you ever want to get an idea of where the crowds are coming from, one tip is to go into SSE and look on the globe in the postshow.

Oh we figured that one out with SSE. We're from NH so we are fully aware of what I like to call "the thaw factor" for Feb. School Vacation. There were a TON of people from Louisiana at the World and they were all wearing the LSU gear and Saints gear for Mardi Gras.

I was just amazed as I've never been down there at this time and didn't expect it to be so busy given the state of the economy. I know a lot of people who had cancelled their trips in Feb.

I thought that the press said for Kim Possible that they programed it so you wouldn't run into others ahead of you in the missions.
What happened to that?

I guess Disney wasn't prepared for mature adults flocking to this attraction in droves.

It's working, the thing is that the system has been SO JAMMED because of it's tremendous popularity, and the parks have been SO crowded, that it happens more and more. And the system still works right, it's just that because of non-playing traffic, it's simply logic that more players are standing "near each other".

If you're playing and want to EXTREMELY avoid this, just know that the farther you walk away from Mission Locations, the less chance you have of running into other players. It's not necessary, if you see someone else playing, you can just walk away from them and you're fine.

Really It's amazing how LITTLE a scale this happens on even when the system's just jammed, it's doing crowd control on a massive scale, and it'll always impress me.

I was at Epcot today and all I know is that I kept hearing those things and they're quite loud, if lots of people have them everywhere, it could become an annoyance to the "regular" guests trying to have a peaceful time in World Showcase.

Just a thought

Went to Animal Kingdom and Epcot yesterday. Very Very crowded. And boy did Disney have a lot of stuff on sale. Discounts everywhere.

Anyone who doubts the popularity of the KP challenge should find a quiet bench in World Showcase and count the number of times they hear "beep-beep-bee-deep" in an hour.

And yep... lots of adults-only groups too!
