Attendance is down, new rides, costar’s.. la la laa.
What would happen if they closed Epcot for 2 years? In those two years every ride was "Re-built" so that it would appear just as it did in 1982. Not only that, but the parts were technology has advanced was updated NOT replaced.
Example:
Gone are all the "World Key" kiosks, replaced by "IKey" Stations that have cutting edge internet capabilities built into them, along with an web cam enabled reservation system.
Journey Into Imagination is back and so is DreamFinder, the ride and music just as you remember it. Now, however the ride functions more like "Spiderman" at IOA. As you chase your way thru the all the dreams the dream finder has collected.
Landscaping, the park looks just as it did when it opened. That big Lucite thing is back in the entrance of the park. Tree's and green space all over the place.
New countries have been added to World Showcase, and those great Circle vision films are back, but this time projected in Omnimax 3D style theaters.
World of motion and Horizons are back, Test Track is still there but in a different area. Everything works, all the effects are updated, music tracks never sounded better!
So, what do you think would happen? 2 Years later, the park would re-open. Would it be packed? Would people come and be impressed. Would it just fizzle out and no one would want to visit it?
