Now before I get judged to harshly, let's get a few things out in the open. Bud light is my #2 choice of beers. My beer tastes are not much different than when I was a broke college student. I would guess I drink about 2 cases of bud light a month.

I went to buy a beer at Epcot last night, and thought the price of $5.50 was low, and figured I would be getting a smaller than usual cup of draft beer. When I was handed a 12 ounce can of bud light and asked if I wanted a cup, I was stunned. Walking back to my family, all I could think was, how "white trash" walking around Epcot with a can of Bud Light is. Now, some might consider me to be "white trash", and definitely look white trash sometimes. I have no problem with the aluminum bottles, but I just do not think Bud It cans fit in at Epcot, or anywhere other than the resort pool. It seemed to me to be low class, and coming from a white trash alcoholic, that says a lot.

It has typically been policy that they would never give a guest the can or bottle. They would always pour it for you and dispose of the can/bottle. Not sure if this changed or the cast member you encounterd just wasn't properly trained.

I couldn't help but notice several misspellings in your post, so I corrected them.

Just wanted to reemphasize this post as being handed the can is not the normal.

With that said though...

Don't worry about the can. Cans are better packaging for beer overall and many craft breweries use the can as well and find it superior to the bottles.

If you like Bud Light or Natty Light go for it. Beer is supposed to be about what you enjoy, not what others think you should drink. I can humble brag and tell you that I just flew to Michigan to get 8 bottles of Canadian Breakfast Stout, but if we were to meet and you wanted a Natty Light in a can, then you do you and enjoy it!

Did you go straight to Founders?

We have family in Detroit; so we made a weekend of it and hit a few breweries there, then met some friends in Grand Rapids. We'd been to Founders back in March for the KBS release.

We ended up at Founders but made stops at The Mitten and Brewery Vivant beforehand this trip.

It was really odd to be able to get full pours of CBS and them not bat an eye. The day before we were at a bar in Detroit and they were doing 5 oz pours and they still kicked their half keg in 3 hours.
