I actually laughed out loud when I saw this. I was thinking about posting it myself.

Think for yourselfer
Again, I fail to see why walking around a theme park with a can of beer in your hand makes the place look less classy or projects a bad image. As I said earlier, it's a THEME PARK-not a country club or cocktail party. If the beer is in a glass, it's still beer. To some people, walking around any Disney park with any kind of alcohol in your hand is trashy. Let me ask you this: which would look worse to you, someone walking around with a can of Bud Light and acting like a civilized, respectful person, or someone walking around with a glass of beer, stumbling, loud and obnoxious? I said this in my earlier post-it's not the drink that someone is carrying around that would project a bad image, it's the actions of the person carrying it.
It's hard to put into simple terms, I admit. It's just a feeling. Open containers look bad to me. Looks low brow. Feels like a tailgate or a college party.

Rice and corn. That is what causes the infamous Bud headache. If you must drink an AB product Michelob is a better "beer".
Funny, I can (but won't) drink Bud products all day long... but the Mick products give me a headache.

FWIW, my own brews go down just fine...

Hmm, maybe if we say it 100 more times, it'll sink in.
Yuengling is a craft beer, it is not a microbrew. Yuengling is a craft beer, it is not a microbrew. Yuengling is a craft beer, it is not a microbrew. Yuengling is a craft beer, it is not a microbrew. Yuengling is a ...

No. That's just too much Yuengling...

OP, where did you even find Bud Light in Epcot?

I disagree. The vessel matters. I won't go to a bar if I know they serve in plastic cups. That's a college move. I'm a grown man, I drink beer in a glass.

That said, the thread title "A new low" is a bit dramatic.

THIS. Not too long ago, drinking anything out of a can was considered low class. Kind of like talking with a cigarette in your mouth. It has little to do with beer, though I suppose that magnifies the point.

I'm sure that a lot of people today won't understand this; just as they don't understand that men should stand on the bus, letting the women and children sit.

Who would want to walk around Epcot with a can when you can buy 6 of the same thing in the store for the same price. If I'm at Epcot I'm getting a beer I can't get anywhere else purged out of the tap

Well the cans of Bud Lite do appeal to the WalMart demographic, I'm not sure their contents can be considered beer however perhaps as Douglas Adams would say 'A Beverage almost but not entirely unlike Beer'.

A question for all of the “drinking beer out of a can is low class” people: would it still be low class if it was a bottle of beer instead? If so, I guess a large section of the population is “low class”. How about we make some more broad generalizations, like drinking cocktails out of a red solo cup is low class? Maybe eating chips right out the bag is too? Being rude, inconsiderate and obnoxious is low class. Only caring about yourself is low class. The vessel that you drink alcohol out of does not make you low class. Seriously.
