welcome mickey lovers to a Journey around half the world , with a Grand stay. and a few days of Packed like sardins parks.. , let me intro duce the cast:

where: Disneys Grand Flordian resort
so with out further or do lets get this thing rolling , the count downs on you Donald

THU Jan 9-
we left Birmingham international airport at 6:55am , headed toward 50 degree sunny flordia.
and suprising we landed , a few mins early and we hopped off the plan .. thankgoodness for early bird check in (southwest airlines) . so we made it to the escalator and then we took the elevator (dads Idea ) to put us right at the Magical express desk area. ,
The Cast member working the desk , saw Mom had the booklet out , hes like Mam put the book let away all you need is your Magic band.. and boom , we were on our way.. by the looks of our line ,,, Grand flordian , poly , and contempory . was the Hot spot for runners this weekend bc of the monorail ... which didn't bother us , bc this is why were was here... so it was our time to board the bus ... and off we went .. the new video on the Dme wasn't that bad.. it was very informative., but on some points I could see where some people like the old one. but soon we were at the grand .. and it was amazing.. let me say that.. Mom was so in awe .. bc shes been wanting to stay there forevvver.. , but more on that later.. , but we had planed to just drop our bags and head to the expo and get my race stuff ... , but we checked and our room was ready. ---BIG SCORE!!!, so we got to talking to the lady that checked us in and stuff.. the only problem they had was my band was not green so they had to make mine green to work. , and so we are now off to our room , - we were in Big pine key. just a short walk from the main building... but we were in for a shock of our life when saw what was next. we got to our room on the 4th floor ... and opened our door , to a beautiful view of the Lagoon and right across the way the poly.
So after we put everything away it was off to find the bus to the expo. , so on the way to expo you could se them setting up for the races during the weekend.. ( which made me excited even more.) . but it didn't seem like that long and we were at the expo.
first off we headed to the Hp field house to get my number and stuff , which wasn't crowded at all ...
it was kinda cool bc this was the first time I had been to the wold world of sports . I had watched it on tv from all the cheerleading and basketball stuff. , but after getting my number we headed over to the josten center.. to get the other stuff. and do a little shoping , well heck what do I mean ALOT! of shopping.. - I wound up getting the blue 1/2 marathon Jacket and a I did it shirt , a pin , a sweaty band , and a another band with the half marathon logo on it. by the time we left it was almost 2pm . and we were staved.. bc we hadn't had anything since 4am that morning.. so we headed over to beaches and cream. ( our first time) it was very good .. I had the pot roast sandwich , mom had the Angus burger , and dad had the turkey club.. and for dessert we had the Milkyway sundae . but we had a adventure getting back to the grand .. it was more like a around the world adventure .. about 4 hours later it seemed .. we Made it back.. so we had enough adventure for one night so we ended the night by watching wishes across the bay from the grand ... which was awesome.. I got to see the projection show which was awesome. but even better when you see it closer more on that as we go along.. but stay tuned for next install ment..
