The paint job is pretty extensive.

Yeah, there's not much you can do but to put up scaffolding if you're working on the exterior of a building. It acrually doesn't look that bad.

As others have pointed out, if you want things refurbished you can't really complain when they get round to doing it. As for 'bad show', does anyone really imagine they could put up and take down the scaffolding every night?

Actually, given that it's an old abandoned hotel, wouldn't it falling apart enhance the show? :ROFLOL:
But seriously, does anyone have any pictures from the far side of the World Showcase Lagoon? I'm curious as to how this looks in with the Moroccan skyline.

On my first trip to Disney last year, I actually did not end up going on ToT I'm excited to be going again next month and I can't wait it's definitely on top of my list, so really an referb in and out won't effect me much unless it looks like a brand new 5 star hotel and not an abandoned one.

Went to DHS briefly today. In addition to the scaffolding, there was a MASSIVE crane next to the Tower (easily 50-100 feet taller than the building itself) and a huge cherry picker doing work on the building as well.
Then I rode the ride and the music and sound was still quiet, out of sync, and choppy. The eyeball picture effect was working and looks just like it did back in the old days.

So they are spending thousands on paint and touch up, but not hundreds to buy new speakers from wal mart, and hire some tool to re-sync audio?
I wish someone in charge at WDW would visit Disneyland.

I do not consider it a trip to WDW unless I see the B&B show.

It's terrible, but I saw the B&tB show when I was younger, and over the past four years of going have never got round to seeing it once! :brick:

B&B movie is my favorite Disney animated film, but I have only seen the show once. I'm not a big fan.

Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite Disney films.. I used to love going to see B&TB Onstage.. Now?? I skip it at all costs... I feel it has become too watered down... It is a shell of what it was...
