Ah, February. The month of heart-shaped boxes of chocolate. The month of romance and love. The month of someone’s Valentine birthday.

The month of the crappiest weather in 95 percent of the country. Including Florida.

The month in which another mother/daughter jaunt to WDW brought unexpected surprises.....some great, some not-so-great....much like biting into a piece of boxed chocolate.

Much like life itself.

I’d LOVE to have you follow along on our long-weekend adventure.

I saw Frozen Singalong for the first time in December and loved it! I hope you're able to use your April M&MRT FP in April. I had one for the end of March which of course was cancelled and now I have one for May and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that one.

Just wondering. When your Match trip got cancelled, did they let you just keep your FPs and let you transfer them to your May trip so you don’t lose the ones you had made?

@TrolleyFollower91 - Many thanks to all of the teachers, preparing work for this. ❤ Our schools are hinting that they may not be back in session, this school year. Seems insane. My oldest step grandson is in 1st grade, they sent iPads home to use for instruction, assuming videos and other work but with parent help. Anyway, just wanted to give a quick shout out to you guys for all that you do.

Enjoying the report, as always and glad you guys are okay!

ps- although I love all @Tuvalu reports, my faves are mom and daughter reports.

I hope all this isn't a problem for the rest of the year, I do love my @Tuvalu reports! Mostly, I just hope it's not a problem because I know our kids need a sense of normalcy in terms of school but I do want everyone to be safe and I certainly understand why WDW has to close.

No, the fastpasses for a cancelled trip also get cancelled. I had already made my May fastpasses before the trip got cancelled anyway since it's for May 5th.

I noticed the flatbread in your TR @Doc Disney was also missing fresh basil. Seems Pinocchio’s Village Haus is now guilty of offering a “lesser Margherita.”

Super delayed response...but finally caught up (don't tell my virtual conference people I was not paying attention). I did not even notice the lack of basil to be honest...I usually pick it off anyway

Looks like we won’t get to use our MMRR FPs for both April and May. (We had potential for a meet-up Linda, since our May dates overlapped!)

Super delayed response...but finally caught up (don't tell my virtual conference people I was not paying attention). I did not even notice the lack of basil to be honest...I usually pick it off anyway

I would have loved to have done a meet-up for May! I'm still not ready to cancel my May trip yet since I already have the airfare, so I'm going to have to wait for Disney and the airlines to allow changes to happen without cancellation penalties.

I‘m glad they have decided against a full curfew here. All shops (other that food and pharmacies) are closed and most companies have gone to mandatory teleworking, but at least we are allowed outside, provided that we keep appropriate social distance. So I’ve gone running or for a walk each day, except today because it was gray and cold, so I worked ...but now I can justify going for a run tomorrow when the sun comes back

Did I miss something? Did they announce an extended closure? I thought they said they'd open April 1st....(cruel April fools joke!) Why can't you use your FPs for May?

Sorry about all the rain and snow, friends! We are in Colorado...there was a big snowstorm last week but I wasn't here for it. As for rain, what is rain? Coloradans ask. I'm a native Pacific Northwesterner so I miss the rain very much!
